Card concept. Attribute Changing

Yea, I know the card is a Pop Culture card, but concept works with a lot of different dragons so if it being Charizard bugs you pretended it's generic dragon.

Anyway, I'm mostly interested in what your thoughts are on the mechanic I came up with of attribute changing.

Also OCG isn't super rusty so if it's that bad some fixes will be nice.

I like the idea. Not the most original I've seen, but still nice.

The effect that goes along with FIRE doesn't seem too useful, 800 Life Points for just 200 ATK. I recommend you bring the cost down some, because I doubt people will use this effect. The WIND effect is pretty useful for dealing quick damage to your opponent, maybe a bit OP'd. The card seems to balance itself out, but IMO you should decrease the cost to maybe 500 or lower it's ATK some.

Overall, it's a nice idea and a pretty good card. I'd like to see more of these.

Using life points as as payment is VERY dangerous territory. However I can agree that lowering make a little buff wouldn't hurt. I'm thinking about leaving the payment the same and upping the boost to 400. At that point 1 use ties most LV 6s while 2 ties almost everything else. The problem is you can use it 9 times giving a net boost of 3600 and that might be to much. Also, starting with 2000 is to much (I stole this effect from a different Char and that one had a summoning restriction). With loads of removal available I don't see it staying around for more then a couple turns.

This isn't an original idea? I'm sure a few people have thought of it, but I don't think this is that common an thought.

Um for the effect I think that to make it sound better, instead of saying while this card is WIND attribute do this.... Why not make it like the Element cards like [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Element_Valkyrie"]Element Valkyirie[/url] and say this card gains the following attribute is face-up on the field.

Because it's been done. It's something new and interesting, plus it interacts very well with effects like Valkirie and her many friends have. This could an interesting theme to build a set around if I ever had the time.

It seems kinda interesting, but doesn't feel like it'd see much use. It might just be helped a tiny bit if it's original attribute was WIND, since it doesn't have 200 DEF and Divine Wind Valley Thing exists. I'd say an ATK boost of 300 might suit it. 1600 to run over Dusty seems alright. 3200 to run over a JD or other 3000beater is pretty costly, so I can't see its beatstickness being broken. I don't like the continuous stall effect of just Summoning it, changing it to WIND, and leaving it there while it can't be attacked, though.

Ruling Question: When switching from WIND to FIRE, does it's original ATK double back to normal or something? Or does it stay halved? If it stays halved, you'd never want to change back... so yeah.

Well if I were the build a set around this idea I'd have other cards that care about attributes so it would be relevant. Making it 300 is good, but it makes the first use less useful since you won't be able to kill a lot of stuff (to be fair the same applies for 200), but after that it become relevant since like you said 2 pushes it over Star, 3 over most creatures, and 4 is over kill. Even if your opponent can't attack it they're loads of answer they can kill him especially if he's attacking. Don't thnk DWV will be all that helpful since he really won't be returning to me

Yea. The WIND effect suppress his attack so when he goes back to FIRE his original attack is restored.

Again, I want to be as conservative as possible with life payment effects since it can get OPed very fast. And again odds are he won't last that long to do more then 2000 or 3000 points of damage.
