THE RATING SYSTEM HAS BEEN UPDATED. ALL RATINGS FROM HERE ON, PLEASE USE IT.

The poll is attached, but it is only a rough estimate.

Vote and rate based on the following things, and take an average. I won't count the vote if you don't elaborate, so if you really want to vote for someone, do so. If you unjustifiably give all 10's, that doesn't count. Same with 0's. Just, please, rate fairly. If you don't rate, and you don't have anything other to say than "theyre gud", I'll report you for spam. So don't do so. Mmk? You have been warned.

YOU HAVE TO RATE BOTH!

Darkthorne

Render Quality: 4/10

Sticks out too much, and too opaque.

Background Complexity/Quality: 8/10

Darker yellow area looks bad.

Font Matching: 4/5

Fits extremely well. Probably a slightly bigger feather radius.

Palette Choice (All colors used are in multiple places and blend well): 6/10

Brownish area looks bad.

Border uniqueness: 5/5

Interesting.

Other modifications:

-1

Single flat edge used for brown area.

5.75/10

Cybernetic Dragon

Render Quality: 4/10

Looks stretched and cluttered.

Background Complexity/Quality: 0/10

Background? I see no background.

Font Matching: 4/5

A evil looking.

Palette Choice (All colors used are in multiple places and blend well): 3/10

Bit gradient-ish, doesn't really suit it.

Border uniqueness: 1/5

Not unique, that's for sure.

Other modifications:

-2 too dark.

-2 text over renders.

-1/10

Ok, here I go with this.

Render Quality: 8/10. It is nicely done, but doesn't exactly blend into the background, sticks out too much.

Background Complexity/Quality: 9/10 Looks plenty complex, lots of interesting shapes.

Font Matching: 6/10 Sticks out too much fromt he background, and the color is a little too intense, also the font doesn't match the more blocky look of the background.

Palette Choice: 9/10 Yellow and black are used nicely, but some aren't close enough to each other.

Border uniqueness: 6/10 The border is pretty unnoticeable and you sort of don't notice it (I had to look for it). Once acknowledged its is nice, interesting design, but its too unnoticeable.

Total Average: 7.6/10

Render Quality: 3/10 Is hard to see, is partially blurry, and parts of it can't even be seen (like the Keyblade).

Background Complexity/Quality: 1/10 Well there pretty much isn't one, other than just black.

Font Matching: 1/10 There is no font, but I guess no font sort of equals no background.

Palette Choice: 3/10 Well really only about two or three colors to have, but only one is used.

Border uniqueness: 0/10 There is no border.

Total Average: 1.6/10

Winner is Darkthorne

Palette Choice (All colors used are in multiple places and blend well): 9/10

Border uniqueness: 8/10

Very nice to look at, I'm not a big fan of the yellow shade you used - it looks a little too close to a brown (with a green tint). The runic effects are wonderful - great job.

Cybernetic:

Render Quality: 5/10

Background Complexity/Quality: 5/10

Font Matching: 6/10

Palette Choice (All colors used are in multiple places and blend well): 0/10

Border uniqueness: 1/10

Overall Appeal: 2/20

Total: 2.7/10

Why did you challenge Darkthorne/accept his challenge? I'm sorry, but it's really not good. Faded renders on a black background? No. You really couldn't stand a chance against DT.
