Anti-Apocryphal
Do you like to train Pokémon for a while, or do you prefer to constantly switch up who's in your party?
Ярополк Пономарёв
I constantly switch mine. I can't ever keep them the same except for my Starter, and sometimes other Pokemon I want to keep.
Yang Xiao-Long
I train particular favorites until they reach lv. 100. Every now and then I'll switch around party members, but I must always have my starter and the currently-being-trained in my party.

Xazeon
I find myself constantly switching to balance my team's levels out.
Squirrel Girl
Well, I always train my pokemon. I always decide the 6 Pokemons I will have before playing, then I dont train other pokemons, always using them until they reach Lvl 100. Then start over and train other pokemons. Anti-Apocryphal
I'm training a Deino right now. It's LV. 50.
Dark
This generally applies to all of the Pokemon games I own, but I train whatever is either the lowest-leveled at the moment, or if it is utterly useless, I'll tack an EXP Share onto it and train the Pokemon that is the most useful. It would be wholly retarded to start training your Flying/Fire type in a cave filled with Hikers that you hold no super-effective moves against, so it often depends on what Pokemon is good for a given situation. For example, in my Sapphire, despite my Breloom being the highest-leveled at the time, I let him take care of all the Trainers on the water routes after I got Surf, since I knew the next time I would use him wouldn't be until Wallace. When it came time to go through the Lilycove-Mossdeep water routes, I started training my Starmie since it was the lowest leveled and I expect it to sweep Victory Road for me. As a general rule of thumb, I try to keep my Pokemon balanced in terms of level (unless it's a starter-only run), but I will not forcibly train my Fire-type on water routes because it's slacking in experience. Βyakuya
My basis is, when I train pokemon, I let them train up a certain level. Then I switch a pokemon in my party to come up front, and so and so. My starter however, will be the one with the highest level. Thus explains the Pokemon and their levels shown in my sig.
Larxene
I usually just keep a team of 6 and keep them all around the same level as I go through the game. I don't switch out unless I catch something new that's worth adding to my party.
Kotaro
I like to balance my team and change between them, usually starter is further up front in levels though. Sometimes I switch pokemon with those in PC depending on who I have there and the type of pokemon in the area.
Cin
Train, but I switch the team members round to keep levels similar. Lately it's more I've planned the team before starting the game, so I only switch out the element monkey.
Nɇvɇrmorɇ
I tend to switch out often. Until I get the party I want.
Chiri Tsukikawa
I'm keeping my team as Lampent, Leafeon, Leavanny, Haxorus, Unfezant & Hydreigon until some of them grow to lv.100. (I'm not training my Serperior, Emboar & Samurott until after those Pokemon)
