Toffee.
This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect: ●This face-up card's name is treated as "Elemental Hero Neos".
So yea, apparently Alius is a 1-card deck that wins games. Discuss.
evilfusion
One of the better Eheroes, since it's a beatstick. As for being a gemini, I guess that gives access to some of the Normal Support and stuff like Gemini Spark if you wanted. Its effect isn't that special, though. Makes Neos decks better, but not a special effect.
burnpsy
First panel of the comic strip you posted made me think of this: In any case, there's not much to say about Alius aside from how it's good in Hero Beat and doesn't afraid of anything. El-Rrey
Is this guy the best Gemini monster??
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Close to Gigaplant, and though Gigaplant is cool and all, its not meta like Alius. Alius is better just because of its support, not due to its effect (who would honestly second summon this thing)?
CDDRodrigo
Anti-Meta Chaos heroes are good.
HaouJudai
When Neos Alius first came out he was one of the very first 1900 atk warriors. That alone made him noteworthy. Then the light attribute got a ton of support and Little City was born. He plugs into warrior support - hero support - neos support - light support AND gemini support. I immediately collected 3 ulty 1st of him and i've ran them ever since. Gemini Spark will probably get semi'd because of how good this guy is. Now he's even being used for either The Shining or Chaos Sorc. I remember so many people flipped out over his sucky effect when he came out. If his effect was at all relevant he'd be limited with Stratos. fyi - he's coming out in a duel terminal

.Rai
Chaos Heroes is cool. Basically LIGHT Beat but stick in some Doomcaliber, Caius, Gorz, DAD and Chaos Sorcerer and you get a good deck. Alius is good because it's searchable by Emergency Call and RotA. That's it.

.Rai
That's like banning Genewarped Warwolf because it has White Elephant's Gift, Enchanted Fitting Room, Heart of the Underdog etc. It'll never happen. Alius has Stratos (which is Limited anyway), Emergency Call and RotA (which is also Limited).
HaouJudai
No that was not what I said. Nothing and no one are getting hit in any way. If hero beat would continue to win in the format and they felt it needed to be hit - the card they'd go for is gemini spark. but I don't think this is going to be the case. Nothing from heroes will be hit in Sept. Unless konami actually plans to print Escuridao which changes everything.

evilfusion
Good enough to be put on the banlist, I mean. There are good, effective cards that have no place on the banlist, even though they're good. Cards that deserve ban placement are either incredibly good, broken, or abusable. HaouJudai
I think abuse really gets konami's attention on a card in a championship deck - Angel's deck in Anaheim ran 3 gemini spark - no kidding i was thanking god almighty he didn't main miracle and super poly in multiples
