CommanderVolt Posted May 4, 2011 Report Share Posted May 4, 2011 The irritating thing is the members of the "Chess" Archfiends are all diffirent attributes. Except Terrorking and Thunderclap Daemon. I wish it had a bit more defense, i'd run it along side my Chaos King Archfiend in my solid fiend deck, but for now i dont have enough justification to use it. evilfusion Posted May 4, 2011 Report Share Posted May 4, 2011 Perks to this card: Level 8, DARK, and I guess Fiend. It doesn't need to remove a particular level monster, so it can remove fodder like Giant Germ. While it doesn't protect itself, it can protect other things, but only if exactly one is going to be destroyed, such as by Bottomless or (I assume) battle. darkwolf777 Posted May 4, 2011 Report Share Posted May 4, 2011 You can use Archfiend's Roar with it, and when its gets destroyed by Archfiend's Roar's effect during the End Phase, you can Special Summon another high level Fiend to take its place, maybe even bringing back a Dark Necrofear for more harassment. Annoyed it can't save itself from effect destruction, but then again that clause stops it being immortal from battle, as someone pointed out it stops monsters dying in battle which is added bonus. Anyways, I don't think it fits the whole fiend thing. The effect feels more fairy, protect and revive, but I guess I can cope with it being a fiend. Won't see much play, though.
