evilfusion
When hunting for deck ideas, I stumbled upon the ideas of one of my old Reptilianne decks. It actually works fairly well, even with the lulzy inclusion of Ccarayhua. Now, if suggesting fixes, my only real requirement is not to advise "Drop all the Ccarayhua", because I actually like that. I do think I should maybe cut one of them, though. evilfusion
I tend to run into situations where I have 2+ Ccarayhua in my hand, and not enough Tribute fodder. Made this change to test: - 1 Ccarayhua +1 Reptilianne Spawn
Bringerofcake
Personally, I've never liked Savage Colosseum in Reptiliannes, if only because most times it's because Misty ran it in 5Ds. But if you do end up dropping one of the Ccarayhua, I'd suggest: -1 Ccarayhua -1 Savage +2 Recurring Nightmare Naga, Viper, and Vaskii have 0 DEF, making this really good recycling material. evilfusion
I like Colosseum because of when I Set a Naga, all their monsters will have to attack it and give me a lot of victims for Scylla or Vaskii. It works surprisingly well, despite being rather predictable. There are often some shenanigans I can use with Enemy Controller and the like: By taking their strongest monster, the rest have to ram it. Plus it's a handy field for Ccarayhua for two reasons: 1) I'm running it in the deck already. 2) The opponent cannot attack if I only control an Immortal, so their monsters will likely self-destruct if placed in Attack Position, while Ccarayhua can just attack directly. Well, I don't run Viper, but a Recurring Nightmare could work. I'll test it a bit.
Bringerofcake
Hm. For some reason, I thought that I saw Viper on the list. You're testing 1 or 2 Nightmares?
evilfusion
Just 1. I only have 5 targets for it (3 Naga, 2 Vaskii), and very rarely have I ever needed Graveyard retrieval to the hand, so I really don't see it testing that well. While I do have Synchros in the Extra Deck, I dont run any Tuners (but frequently find myself able to steal an opponent's Tuner), and I never really liked Viper. evilfusion
Bump. Tests demonstrated Recurring to be a dead draw too often.
Bringerofcake
Tested in vanilla reps. It's only good with Viper anyway. TCG only? If not, Lion Alligator?
evilfusion
*looks up Lion Alligator* 1900 beatstick...gives all Reptiles piercing if you control another one... WOW. That'd be...interesting. Not sure if it'd work great in this type of deck, since it banks on the synergy of Oshaleon and Gardna to search Naga/Gardna/Vaskii and the rest of the cards essentially being support. And aside from Vaskii and Solid-boosted monsters, my monsters are lacking in raw force and there's not that many swarm opportunities other than Rebirth. Any suggestions of something to remove to test?
Bringerofcake
Depends on how many you plan to test with. How does Card Destruction work for you?
evilfusion
Depends on how many you plan to test with. How does Card Destruction work for you?
Probably 2. It usualy works well, but mostly just to ditch things to the Graveyard for Reborn or Rebirth. Bringerofcake
I'd say 1 Colosseum, 1 Scylla. It's tough figuring out what to neg in this deck
evilfusion
Don't I know it. Then again, that may just be the mark of a relatively solid deck. Colosseums hate being negged. I'll drop Terraforming in its place. And Scylla? Hm...yeah, I'll give it a shot.
