Why is this happening?

Hello there. I haven't posted in a while. Such a pity it has to be about this...

Anyway, I am trying to make a card, "Sky Confrontation", with this effect:
"This card can only be activated while you control 1 Face-Up "Digihuman - Shiro the Savior". Special Summon 1 "Meistermind Token" (DARK/Level 5/Spellcaster-Type/ATK ? / DEF ?) to your Opponent's Field. As long as "Meistermind Token" remains on the Field, your opponent cannot declare an attack, except with "Meistermind Token". The ATK and DEF of a "Meistermind Token" is equal to the ATK and DEF of "Shiro the Savior". During your 3rd End Phase after this card's activation, the ATK and DEF of "Meistermind Token" becomes the ATK and DEF of "Shiro the Savior" -100."

However, for some reason when I click "Generate", the card appears like this:

What's going on here? I tried generating this in another card, but it did the same thing. Can anyone suggest a reason or fix please?

ok... this is a very good issue!! I tried to make the same card "copy-paste the effect" just to test it for me... I tried to make 1st a trap and then a monster card... but it was no difference... the card maker has a BIG issue!! I can give you a small solution... download the Magic Set Editor 2!

EDIT: Wow!! the card maker make's this issue only on veeeeery looooooong effects (I think)!! When I wrote a smaller effect appeared normaly!! Did you tried to test a different effect? (Longer or sorter... does not mater!) Just to test the card maker! Try another looooooong effect just the 1st to test it!

reEDIT: No... it's working fine exept yours effect.... o_O!!

Really? I must say that is weird. That version of the effect still won't work, but this version with a longer variant is working;

It's effects are negated and it cannot be removed from the Field except by battle. As long as this card remains Face-Up on the Field, "Meistermind"'s ATK and DEF become equal to the ATK and DEF of "Shiro the Savior". Your opponent cannot declare an attack, except using "Meistermind the Wicked Digihuman". After your 3rd Standby Phase following this card's activation, the ATK and DEF of "Meistermind the Wicked Digihuman" becomes the ATK and DEF of "Shiro the Savior" -100. When "Digihuman - Shiro the Savior" or "Meistermind the Wicked Digihuman" is removed from the Field, destroy this card.

as opposed to the effect that's causing the problem:

For obvious reasons, the shorter version would be more desirable, especially since Shiro's effect is supposed to apply to the token, but is being forced to be longer since instead it must apply to Meistermind the Wicked Digihuman.

Do not be socked mate.... Card Maker is a Progam made from human(s) for humans!! (Just like windows... and they have a lot of issues too!!! hehe) my point is: if the Windows have issues, what make's you think that the Card Maker is perfect??

I neve said it was perfect, nor that I can't keep the "current" variant. I was just rather taken aback by how bizarre this situation was and hoped there was a fix. Besides, you said to test it with a "loooong" effect, and this workaround was able to fit the bill.

I think it's the question mark you're using. It might be having problems with that.

I have no troubles with putting a "?" in the card text.

The way the Card Maker is coded, a single question mark will cause the text to stop. Double and triples have no effect.
