Unless otherwise stated, "Battle Damage" is always calculated normally with monsters that are not destroyed by battle. Look at Reptilianne Naga, Spirit Reaper, Sonic Chick, Obnoxious Celtic Guardian, or Shield Wing. When Stated in card names, the names of archetypes (such as above "guardian Warrior"s) should be in quotations. To my knowledge, there is only one Level 4 or lower monster that simply can't be destroyed by battle, and that's Marshmallon.
