Fan Fic question.

Got a question about the Fan Fic forum. Can you only post stories about existing TV shows, manga, and the like, or can you post a story that you came up with that is unrelated to anything currently out in the media world? Its just that I have a story that I want to post, but I wont if you cant do that.

I once began to write a story on YCM and posted it in the Fan Fic section. There were no penalties and nothing happened, but no one read it and the thread died within days lol
