Classic
[b][center] Title really says all that i would have to say... Well the original drawing i did about a week ago, it took around 30 seconds. Yesterday i almost completely re-did it with Some new Charcoal pencils. And earlier today i shaded it... thats really it. Well here is a version touched up in gimp and a straight off the scanner [s]that picks up even erased things[/s] version: Sorry for sideways-ness no matter what program i rotated it in it ended up sideways o.o. Boss Z
The creature is rather flat except for the head area, and that is due to the lines you add on the legs and arms in an attempt to make them look more 3D... that is what shading is for, and speaking if shading, it appears that u just made the whole thing a uniform shade of grey except down by the heel on the foot, which really isn't shading at all I'm no Picaso myself, but it appears that your art skills might need some work... and make sure you keep the lught source from out point with your shading, on the none edited version it seems like u shade the elbow of the near arm, but that doesn't make sence in corolation with the back of the heel on the near leg Understand?? Classic
Completely, thanks for the insightful review ^^. And yes my art skills need work but that's what drawing, getting critique and practicing is all about ^^. And on the uniform shade of gray all over, I tried to make it differ but it's my first time with charcoal pencils and I am not that experienced with smudging xD. And on the non edited version I don't know why that elbow was picked up light, must have been light leaking into my scanner.. Anyways, once again thanks ^^. Icy
Can you describe what you intended it to be?
Classic
Err when I drew it originally I intended to make some sort of creature thing.. At the time it looked like a furry reptile(one of the reasons I redrew it). But when I draw, I draw whatever comes to mind. Bit when i drew this i was drawing bunches of 20-30 second beings of randomness. This one turned out oddly good so i edited it and messed around with shading and it turned out to be some reptilian-like creature.
