Lucksacks like a boss.

End up milling half my deck, so I usually end up lucksacking stuff like Mind Control and Monster Reborn/Rekindling all the time.

Summons SQD pretty easily with the right set up (I need Boost Warrior in hand to do it, though, which is kind of a problem)

Set Miller, end
they attack into miller
send Magma Artillery and Tender
Tender's effect, Tender's effect, Tender's effect into another Magma Artillery
they end
Rekindling
special summon 3 Tender and 2 Magma Artillery
Synchro Hyper Librarian
Synchro Hyper Librarian, draw 1
Special Summon Boost Warrior from hand
Synchro Formula, draw 3
Synchro Shooting Quasar Dragon

I'll probably neg Quickening of the Flame Swirl for a Gorz.

EDIT: Instant Fusion helps make Dragoon w/Tender in hand, which makes Tenders in deck live first turn.
Not quite. That relied on the wikia's poor translations.

Tender asks that its sending must occur at a time where a non-Tender Laval is already in the Grave - for Miller this will almost never be a problem; but Miller by all rights isn't the only way Tender will be activating when we play games. Consider Tender+Whatever being destroyed by Dark Hole while no Lavals are in the Grave; Tender would not activate here, because there isn't a Laval waiting in the Grave beforehand.

As it was translated on the wikia, Miller wasn't necessary to send all 3 Tenders to the Grave; only one Tender was, and it'd send the other two, and the last Tender would send a fourth card. Miller is more essential to you than planned.
Miller = Win
But not the way you are doing it...

Miller destroyed -> Laval Lady of the Burning Lake, 3x Tender, Laval Lancelord... Rekindling -> RND -> WIN

You're combo is rather interestin though, but Boost Warrior isn't really that good, And I personally would prefer the Deck I had help from Dae on Making... which will be up soon after some personal testing...

That combo could work, too.
(and probably be more consistent, lol)

so:

-1 Boost Warrior (should one to make first turn Formula?)
-1 Laval's Magma Artillery
-1 Reinforcement of the Army
+1 Tragoedia
+1 Morphing Jar
+1 Laval Lady of the Burning Lake

-1 Formula
-1 Quasar
+1 RND
+1 RDA

sound good?

@THE GOD OF OSIRIS: IDGI? so you're saying that I can't send another Laval first with Miller's effect, and then Tender, and then Tender's effect activates, etc.?

Aklys activates in so many ways it shouldn't on WC11 too, but it's ruled not to.
So if u wanted to dump 5 with miller how would u do it? Chose miller, go through that and then a 2nd?

You're setting him up for Laval200... or so it would seem, Lol
Laval Can be played without numerous mill cards, I personally prefer them without... but depending on how far you go one way or the other, you can really change your consistancy... there is a nice bell curve kind of feature to them...

Excuse me, but where did you get this information? I searched a lot, but I wasn't able to find rulings for Tender. Furthermore, in the Official Video Game it works like that, with a character (Tender herself) actually using this strategy; So, could you say where have you seen that I can't send 1 Tender to the grave with another and then use the new one's effect? If the flavour text says that the only thing you need to actiavte this effect is having at least one different Laval in your grave when Tender is sent there, Laval Miller should count and allow the activation.

It's an old build, and I'd play a solid trap lineup now.

But how are you going to make room for them? I mean, all Spells seem useful to me. Also, I wonder if it's really worth using two copies of Debris, since the only thing you can Synchro Summon with it would be Black Rose Dragon... and maybe Trishula.
After reading the entire topic, I noticed your post about Aklys. I'm almost sure I activated its effect once when the monster it was equipped to was removed for Leyvaten. Rules say that can't occur. So it's really not that reliable what Video Games show. That's a shame. I expect Laval Decks are still useable after that. :(
But I still don't understand how that works. I can send 1 Tender to Grave with my Miller, then send another with the first's effect, but not a third? Your first post concerning the topic didn't quite make clear hot was it. And if you can't send another Tender with the first one, when can I use her effect?
Also, who is Pharaoh Atem?
(I wonder why the Wikia doesn't have the rulings for Tender)

He's probably one of the best people to go to for rulings, especially since he reads Japanese and can interpret OCG text to make more accurate rulings.

He's on Pojo iirc and he's a mod on DN.
