OmegaWave
Into the Void I'm baaaaaaack! Miss me? Of course you didn't. I can bet 90% of you have no idea who I am, so let me reintroduce myself. I am OmegaWave. I've been a member of the YCM community for 3 1/2 years now. I have won numerous awards in the past including "Best Realistic Card Maker". Unfortunately, with school and such I had to leave YCM for quite awhile, only managing time here for status updates and such. However, I am now a proud high school graduate and have more time to myself. Which means i'll be around much more often. Now that that's taken care of, allow me to introduce you to my new card project: Into the Void. (Playstyle) This set consists mainly of new "Void" monsters and support cards. My inspiration for them actually came from a once-popular MMORPG called Ultima Online. With the release of the Stygian Abyss expansion, they released new "Void Creatures" which are monsters from a dimension entirely opposite of our own. With that in mind, these "Void" monsters make reference to that by being DARK Fiend-Types as well as them dying opposite of normal monsters. Basically, to "Void" monsters, being removed from play is like being in the Graveyard and vice-versa. There are only a few so far. I will continue to make more if people really want to see them. When this card is Normal Summoned, you can select 1 banished level 4 or lower "Void" monster and Special Summon it. When this card leaves the field, banish it. (Void Galyph) 1 "Void" Tuner + 1 or more non-tuner monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can add 1 "Void" Tuner monster from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, you can return 1 banished "Void" card to your Graveyard to select and destroy 1 monster your opponent controls. When this card leaves the field, banish it.
Give me your thoughts!
Professor Strawberry
Lores are definitely needed. The only one I can read without squinting or zooming in is Void Glow. OCG needs updating, but nice cards. 9/10.
Knight of Emotion
I seem to like them. 9/10 also. Btw...Welcome Back. (I'm newer so I probably don't know you XD)
OmegaWave
Card lores added. Thank you for your opinions. After further researching OCG, only Void Galyph needs to be fixed.
Dragon7OP
A pretty cool start to an archetype. The three work together well, and I can't wait to see what else you make. These are some pretty cool cards, as to be expected from 3 1/2 years. Also, Where did you get the card artworks? They're awesome!
OmegaWave
Thank you very much. I got the artwork from an artist here on YCM named HP Doom.....i'm not sure if he's been around recently though. These images are actually quite old.I fixed all of my previous OCG problems and added 3 new cards. So I was proven wrong on my OCG. I apologize, since I haven't been in the loop. Personally, I hate the new OCG....but there's nothing I can do about it.
Ieyasu Tokugawa
Banishing them when they leave the field period seems like a little too much to me, limits play with techs such as Birdman. I'd say to put it to when they're sent to the Graveyard instead for the non-synchros at least. I don't see any reason for Beelze and The Void other than refuling Galyph's once per turn effect. I'd consider giving the field spell a bit of a buff at least, field spells have the weakness of being succeptible to other field spells and spell/trap destruction. It's like how Necrovally plays a huge roll in Gravekeepers, and the Dark World Gateway thing give them a draw engine.
OmegaWave
Going to the graveyard is what I intended all along. How would I word that though? Leave the field to the Graveyard? Like I said.....FUUUUUUUUU this new OCG.
