[/quote] Attack with vengeful pharoah, of course! But in all honesty, he isn't much of a defense, and most decks can work around losing a creature every so often. [/quote] In MtG, you attack with everything all at once. Therefore, all of it is attacking "first". EDIT: You attack with everything at once, but double strike creatures and first strike creatures deal combat damage first, meaning Vengeful Pharaoh can trigger off something that dealt damage with FS or DS and destroy something that hasn't even dealt damage yet.
