OmegaWave
Steelswarm Spidroid http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Steelswarm Rather than make my own archetypes this time around, I decided to make a support card for one that I thought was really cool. The "Steelswarm" are DARK Fiend-Type insectoid monsters that use each other to Tribute Summon stronger "Steelswarm" monsters like "Steelswarm Longhorn" and have various effects activate because of it. They're OCG-Exclusive right now, which is why few people know about them. Image Credit: HP Doom (Card Lore)When a "Steelswarm" monster is successfully Tribute Summoned by Tributing this card, draw 1 card. If the drawn card is a level 6 or lower "Steelswarm" monster other than "Steelswarm Spidroid", you can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon it. Give me thoughts! Sander
Honestly, I would change the SS effect into a Mezuki esque effect. Keep the drawing effect, though. Anyways, about the Mezuki esque idea, I would have this card Tributed, maybe then draw the card, and then reveal 1 Steelswarm monster from your hand (5+ Level), SS it and treat it being Tribute Summoned. But that's just me.
marcher boyz
oh look it's a card that needs a turn for setup in a deck that plays no defense, what great design
OmegaWave
Well, I wanted it to Special Summon because many of the Steelswarm monsters have very abusable effects when Tribute Summoned. I also have it as Level 6 or lower because there are monsters in that archetype with 3000+ ATK that have field nuking abilities. Being able to instantly summon them with this card would be disastrous. The comment is very appreciated though. oh look it's a card that needs a turn for setup in a deck that plays no defense, what great design Have you played Steelswarm before? If you have, you wouldn't have said this.

OmegaWave
but i have and i did Well then I don't know what the hell your problem is, but no one gets cocky with me. If you don't have any positive criticism to give, then please don't post in my threads.

And marcher is right, Steelswarm are pretty defensless, and this cards set-up just takes too long.

Don't fuel his fire >_< He could've been nicer about it though. His comment was one of the few times that sarcasm is clearly seen on the internet.
