ATK 500/DEF 400

A tuner that is a free, conditionless special summon from hand. Really?

Also, anyone who knows me knows I hate coin effects that have no downside for failure.

Joltic Magnet
Level 2
LIGHT/Thunder/Tuner
When this card is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned by the effect of a Thunder-Type monster: draw 1 card.
ATK 600/DEF 400

Tuner with a free draw when summoned, well Sherry had one in the anime. Plus because of it's type/attribute it will only give you access to the staples so that's enough to let it slide. If it was dark I'd say no, but think it's fine as is.

Joltic Stunmaster
Level 3
LIGHT/Thunder/Effect
This card is unaffected by card effects. Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1; Select 1 card your opponent controls: the selected card cannot activate its effect, attack, be Tributed or be used in a Synchro Summon or Xyz Summon if it is a monster until the End Phase of your opponent's next turn. If the selected card is a Spell or Trap Card, it cannot be activated and negate its effects until the End Phase of your opponent's next turn.
ATK 1100/DEF 1300

For this much lockdown there should be a cost, and ridiculously low stats.

Joltic Dragon
Level 4
LIGHT/Thunder/Effect
Once per turn; you can flip 2 coins: this card gains an additional attack this turn for each Heads.
ATK 1500/DEF 1400

Bites back remarks about having nothing to lose.... again....

Once per turn; you can discard 1 Thunder-Type monster or 1 "Reactive Electricity": your opponent cannot activate Spell or Trap Cards until the End Phase of their next turn.
ATK 1600/DEF 1500

This is f***ing awesome and balanced. Best card so far.

Joltic Birdman
Level 5
LIGHT/Thunder/Effect

ATK 2000/DEF 1600

YES, There is actually risk this time.

Joltic Scythe
Level 8
LIGHT/Thunder/Effect
When a Thunder-Type monster destroys a monster by battle: Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. This card gains 100 ATK for each Thunder-Type monster you control.

Iron Core muc? But a very good card.

Reviving Shock
Quick-Play Spell
Special Summon 1 Thunder-Type monster in your Graveyard.

Really? Really?

Immense Voltage
Normal Spell Card
Add 1 Level 4 or lower Thunder-Type monster from your Deck to your hand.

Great support card.

Joltic Force
Normal Trap
Activates when your opponent declares an attack while you control a Thunder-Type monster. Destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls and you can send 1 Thunder-Type monsters from your Deck to the Graveyard.

Balanced in the same way Wall of Thorns is I guess, bonus effect is sneakily nice.

In short, high level monsters are good, low levels are overpowered IMO.

Not a lot of synergy in set though.

Also, why tuners and no synchros?

Actually, there weren't supposed to be Tuners in this set. I forgot to remove the Tuner tags when I copied the written card template. :/

For me, Stunmaster was actually kind of balanced. Since it is unaffected by card effects, its 1100 cannot increase and its extremely vulnerable to be defeated in battle. But I see your point.

Joltic Magnet's draw effect only activates when it is NORMAL SUMMONED or Special Summoned by the EFFECT OF A THUNDER-TYPE monster.

Joltic Dragon is supposed to be Level 5, darn typo. :)

Reviving Spark is broke. :)

Yes, let's be patronising and use caps lock...

Because NORMAL SUMMONING is so difficult.

I think there is some confusion. When you say "NORMAL SUMMONED or Special Summoned by the EFFECT OF A THUNDER-TYPE", do you actually mean like it activates under the effect of Double Summon / Ultimate Offering (for example). Because it's clear as muck from that sentence.
