I ran it at 41 because I was too lazy to fix it. Maybe lose a Book of Life, I found 3 were sometimes dead especially when you opened multiples. Also perhaps drop 1 Trooper for another Veiler if you can because it's become insanely good against everything (Stops Debris, Trish, Kageki, Caius etc)

Dont like it. Its missing the Needle Worms so my only option to deck my opponent out is via Jar... so Id deck out first. Plus it looks slower than my build. I can FTK with mine.

Trust me, Morphing Jar is better than Needle Worm for FTKing. Has a 69% chance of FTKing.

For the Zombie build, I'd try and fit in 1 Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress and a Charge of the Light Brigade. If not, fine. Zephyros should help too.

It placed 3rd at YCS Charlotte. If the pilot didn't misplay, it would have made the finals.

I play Morphing Jar. In fact with Needle Worms and Morphing Jar, Ive FTKed 9 of my 12 games, and got second turn wins on the 2

The point of Paul's deck is to flip Jar to gain speed, but win by playing Card Destruction with a small/empty hand. Feathers increase the number of times you use Card Destruction. It's a really consistent build and I can show you how to use it any time. Also, your deck is slower. Paul's can FTK as well. :S

@Manjy: I know Paul IRL. He goes to my regs. He didn't cheat :S

The good dark worlds haven't been released yet.
Empty Jar ...
GBs and LS are a rare sight this format.

Plants are the best deck. THE BEST. (as in get 16 out of 32 top spots best) I can't emphasize it enough. There are also decks that try to mimic plant's shenanigans with T.G. Hyper Librarian (Fabled, Water Synchro and Fish (almost)FTK but I am not sure that every card for it is released)

GBs tend to use Dimensional Fissure to counter their plays. In fact, I believe that you should main it.

And of course, the anti-meta of the format - Gravekeepers with their broken turn 1 Royal Tribute plays and countless pluses with Recruiter, Descendant and Stele.


Anyway, too much monsters mean that you will lose a lot of games to Gravekeepers. Only 7 traps mean that you will lose against pretty much every other deck. You should remove that DARK engine (consistency should be your thing when you play GBs) and replace it with traps. You should also up you Veiler count as it's probably the best generic card atm.

Some newer good side deck cards.

Maxx C - To gain advantage off your opponent's big Hyper Librarian plays and hope that you draw a protection card or run through all Reborn Tengus that your opponent has for a +1.

Dimensional Fissure - Counters most synchro plays.

Chain Disappearance - Remove Treeborn Frog, Fishborg Blaster, and most Plants.

Puppet Plant - Brain Control against Samurai
