Tribute setting is done so rarely, that seeing someone do it would immediately raise a red flag in any duelist. And if it's a "game over" kind of thing, a lot of people are gonna purposely side in outs for it. Shadow Mirror. Divine Wrath. Nobleman of Crossout. Shield Crush.

But ANY monster with more then zero attack is a counter to this.

You're not gonna wanna waste room for Taiyou unless you had a lot of other cards to go long with it. I guess stuff like a Mill Deck with Morphing Jar and Needle Worm, but then you're kind of splitting your deck down the middle between either a mill deck or an OTK deck. It just wouldn't work.

Nope. Being flipped face up =/= being flip summoned. That's why Stealth Bird, and all the other cards from PACMAN decks work they way they do.
