As a child, Volkner was constantly trained to be a tough military warrior like his father and grandfather. However, tragedy soon struck for the Volkner manor. On a stormy day, a huge lightning bolt struck the Volkner's mansion, destroying a large part of the mansion as well as causing a huge fire which killed everybody in the mansion except Volkner due to his mother being able to get him out of the house before she was killed as well. Since then, Volkner has been living with his butler who took care of him using Volkner's father's large military funds. When Volkner grew up, he changed his first name to Fulmen and left Central to become a drifter. During his years travelling, Volkner became a prodigy of alchemy. When Volkner came back to central, he took a military position and quickly rose to the rank of Colonel. Volkner is known for his epithet "Blitz Alchemist". [b]Personality:[/b] Volkner prefers to be called by his last name and never his first name. Volkner doesn't like to involve himself in other people's business very much but it tends to happen to Volkner often and he unwillingly follows it to the end. Volkner, at first glance, is a calm person who keeps to himself but actually Volkner is pretty boisterous and cocky especially when it comes to a battle. Volkner is ruthless and reckless when it comes to battling and when faced with an enemy who he has hatred for, Volkner shows no mercy and even, in a way, tortures his opponent before killing them which can be quite a terrifying sight. Volkner does his job well and even though he hates doing work, his performance is always top notch.
