It destroys a monster and than the ATK increases during the damage calculation. The monster is destroyed after the damage calculation so the effect doesn't apply at all. The swarm effect is good. The only thing I know about God of War is that it is a video game so I can't give much feedback in the way of if the effect coincides with the character but the pic looks great.
