and1dodger Posted July 23, 2011 Report Share Posted July 23, 2011 Hey so I really wanted to make dark magician more playable because in today's metagame full of black wings and six samurai dark magician would just die the minute it hits the field. So an effect would give dark magician a boost. The effect I give him works well with a real card, Magical Citadel of Endymion. If you ever run a spellcaster deck then you know might know what I'm talking about. [/quote] Dark magician girls original effect sucks though. Giving an effect to normal summon it with small cost seems reasonable. Look a Gene-Warped Warwolf, it's a 4 level with 2000 ATK plus no bad effect. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also 2000 ATK is hard to deal with at the early stages except against Aggros, so I think stick to the original. SODM is much better with this effect. [/quote] Alright I crippled Dark magician girl's effect a little more so the card is more balanced. (It can't attack the turn it is summoned plus you have to have another spellcaster to summon it.)
