Since RC love their long effects

Recommended Posts

Its funny when people say this card is OPed.
And I agree with that there are a of of cards that can kill it.

Oh ya. And 4 other cards that can pwn this thing easily are Bottemless Traphole, Exiled Force, Beast king Barbados , And Gilford the Lightning >_>
There are even more. This card has a lot of weaknesses.

8/10
(And I love how this thing has the coin effect. And support for earth)

RC people, namely Ragnarok, always complain if an effect is too short or too bland. I decided to see how they'd react to a long somewhat complex effect and they appear to be even worse when given what they ask for... I suppose I was also testing my creativity but in all fairness this took me no more than a couple of minutes to think up. Guess they need to stop asking for relatively interesting effects, eh?

EDIT: @Star: Finally someone not from TCG with some sense!

I loled even more! Well, to each his own. But in all honest, I haven't seen Gilford do crap in the TCG/OCG.

Your welcome. This thing can be countered COUGHSMASHINGGROUNDCOUGH. Most people don't think about that.

+1 Reped

@Tristain - You know, I'm kind of curious. What would be a "regular" card in your terms?

In his defense he identified that this was easy to destroy and in all fairness Exiled used to be a good card. Gilford... Well we all make mistakes.

Depends by what you mean by "regular".

I meant as in a regular card in real terms, in which case I'd say a card that can be decent in a few decks, not brilliant in many, and is somewhat unique in what it does and does it well. For example, Cyber Dragon. Or in terms of created cards, where it's a similar criteria, just sometimes it takes more thought to judge it. Overall, I wouldn't even call this card average, it honestly isn't a good card. It dies what it's meant to do, but it could be a lot better. Shame no one capitalised on that.

Maybe its because even if it does what its supposed to do, what it does isn't worth doing. I'm sure several of us thought something along those lines.

Hit the nail on the head there. This card does serve a use, but that use is inconsistent, and thus practically useless. Still would've been nice if someone pointed it out, but this thread was mosty meant to be an experiment anyway. Feedback was just a bonus for me, since I generally like hearing what people think if my creations, but most of them receive very little attention.

Well my point has been argued, if I do look at it in many other standpoints, it isn't overpowered. Its probably just the kind of yugioh players that I usually play against. After a countless hour plus minutes of doing stuff for the Corps I'll give to you that this card isn't overpowered.

It's not THAT hard to bring out. This card can be a stuck-hand or tissue-hand however.
It has a nearly OPed effect. The reason being that it's very quick-draw PLUS LP advantage PLUS no damage.
If it wasn't affected by effects, it's terribly broken! Since that's not the case, 9/10. because i'd hate to see this in a duel vs me.

Yeh, that 1000 LP boost, and obviously quick draw is definitely nearly OP'd...
