Static
Twas bored, so I decided to make a quiz, and further postpone the two essays I need to write by tomorrow. There will be a spoiler with the answers at the bottom, so I don't want ANYONE to openly answer a question, just post how many you got right at the bottom. Rules. 1. No asking for help.2. No google/wiki/the like. Anyone can search, but who knows whats up?3. Take it like you would a test where you are wearing a tank top, and all you have is your pencil, the test, and the teacher is grilling you down. Just don't cheat, it ruins the test.4. If you want to post your answers, or any answers for that matter, it MUST be in a spoiler tag, NO EXCEPTIONS!5. Spelling counts in most cases, if you spell an easy name wrong, then you honestly do not deserve credit, but its self graded, so whatever you want. The subject of the quiz is: Potpourri! Lets start shall we. Question 1: Did I spell the "Subject of the quiz" correctly? Question 2: Name one man who wrote a book in which the title includes "A History of". Question 7: Finish: Knights of the __________ (3 words) (20th Century) Question 8: State the effect of the card "Ryu Senshi" or "The Last Warrior From Another Planet". You do NOT need to include the first sentence of each, the part about how they are fused may be excluded. Question 9: Name one Polytheistic religion. You may not select "Hinduism" or "Ancient Egyptian gods/that religion". Question 10: What is Makani's/HORUS's Real [first] name? Question 15: If Willy says that he loves his Chevy, and that it is the best car he ever owned, and then later says "Blasted Chevy's, they should'a never been made." What does that make Willy? Question 16: Define Situational Irony. Question 17: Name the most successful artists at this day in age, in one of the following Countries. I will award a single additional bonus point to a person who can name more than 1 successfully: GermanyRussiaJapanIrelandMexico Question 18: Are humans Procaryotic or Eucaryotic? Question 19: What is the most common type of Cancer Treatment? (generalization) Question 20: Antonym for Immortal, that is not "Mortal" or "Short-lived" Question 21: The next question is meant to test you differently than direct fact. Yay :) Now check your answers [spoiler=Answers Here.] 1. Yes, that is how Potpourri is spelled. 2. (Steven) Hawkings or (Bill) Bryson would have been appropriate. If you posted another, check to see if your right, and if your right, then you may reward yourself with credit for this question. 3. John Lennon 4. Siddhartha Gautama. Spelled it perfectly? Bonus point :) 5. "I has a bucket" or "noooo, dey be stealin ma bucket", or both, are correct. 6. The answer is 5. If I am mistaken, prove me wrong, but I checked it twice. Root 3 ^ 3 = 9 + 6 = 15. 3/root 3 squared is = to 9/3, which is = to 3, and 15/3 = 5. 7. Ku Klux Klan 8. I'm shorthanding these. Ryu: Pay 1k lifepoints to negate the activation and effect of a trap card. This card is unnaffected by spell cards that specifically designate it as a target. (for credit, must include 1,000 to negate trap, and unaffected by SPECIFICALLY DESIGNATING spells.) Last Warrior: When this card is summoned to the field, destroy all monsters on your side of the field, except this card. As long as this card remains face up on the field, neither player may summon. (normal summon, set, or special summon). Something along either of those lines is substancal, as long as both parts of the effect I have there are there, and you specified that NO summons may occur. 9. Paganism is acceptable. Same case as #2 if you didn't pick the answer I have here. 10. Kramer. Must be spelled this way for credit. 11. Walmart. Sam's club is also acceptable. 12. Vladimir Lenin 13. 18 years of age. (the answer 18 is acceptable) 14. 3,500 Cal/Lb 15. A Hypocrite. 16. It is when the audience watching a play knows information than one, some, or all of the characters in the play are not aware of. Germany - RammsteinRussia - T.A.T.UJapan - Ayumi HamasakiIreland - U2Mexico - Ricky Martin (Unsure here) 18. Eucaryotic, *corrected* our cells have nuclear membranes and nuclei. 19. Chemo Therapy or radiation treatment are acceptable answers. 20. Any synonym of or including Evanescent. 21. Its a trick question. The answer is that there is no way to tell if aed or acb is greater. If b < a = d < e < c, then it is dependent on how much greater c is, or how much less b is than a, d, and e. 22. A general overview of acceptable answers. *You may not have any gods before me*You may not bow down to an idol*You may not use my name in vain*Remember the Sabbath, keep it holy*Honor thy mother and father*You shall not commit adultery.*You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. and my favorite *You shall not covet your neighbour’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or male or female slave, or ox, or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbour. 23. Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
The answer to question 18 is wrong; eukaryotic or eucaryotic cells are cells with nucleï and a nuclear membrane. Don't worry, I'm not gonna take the quiz (but not because of that, either; I just don't feel like it).

If you straight up didn't look at the answer guide, then thats actually very good, though some of the answers did seem like they were direct quotes from me with a bit of rewording. Don't worry, I'll judge from the perspective of a teacher, and assume you could not have looked at my answers. Whatever, I don't feel like looking up Earl Hines, so if hes from the 20's or 30's, I'll give it to you, but if hes from the 60's or later, then a definite no. JerryFreelance
I think Earl Hines was like, born 190-something, died 198-something... And I think his prime was 30s and 40s or so? And yeah, I really didn't look on the answer guide... But eucaryotic... I can see where you think I might've copied with that one ;)

Static
If x= The Square Root of 3, and y = 3/x, then what does (x^3+6)/(y^2) equal? This becomes Root 3 ^ 3 +6 = 15. Wait. I'm wrong, but its not because square root of three *3 = 3. Its because when you cube root 3, its root 3 * root 3 = 3, then times root 3 again. Ugh lol. Square root of 3 times 3 is... not nine. ^3 = cubed....... Yeah, I know. That means the number times itself 3 times. 2^3 = 2 x 2 x 2 Square root of 3 x Square root of 3 is 3. Now multiply that by the square root of 3. If you must, use a calculator. It does not equal nine.
