Task
I post a normal monster. Send me a retrained version with the same attribute, type, ATK, DEF, and level but with an effect added. You may add any special effect type such as tuner, union, gemini, spirit, flip, etc. Also you can even make it into a ritual (must send ritual card as well), fusion, synchro, or even exceed (same amount of stars). Changing the name is completely optional. You can send up to 3 optional support cards if you wish.

Can I change the card a bit?
And when it comes to XYZs, do you have to use the template?

In a Chaos Format like this, this card seems promising but a bit on the overpowering side. It can lead to Synchro summoning shenanigans and instant Rank 4 Xyz mons. Overall, it seems good.[/spoiler]

2 Level 4 LIGHT monsters
Once per turn: You can detach a XYZ material: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower LIGHT monster from your hand. It's effects are negated. If this card leaves the field (except for a synchro summon): You can pay 1000 Life Points: Special Summon this card during your next Standby Phase. If this card is used as a Synchro Material for a LIGHT Synchro Monster: banish 1 card on the field.

One thing to remember though, rank=/=level but I'll assume that this card would be treated as a Level 4 by an effect. It seems good actually, ASW works well with it but really, the mechanics have been shattered.[/spoiler]

This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster, except for the Synchro Summon of a LIGHT or DARK Synchro Monster. Depending on the Attribute of the Synchro Monster summoned, activate the following effect: - LIGHT: Flip all face-down monsters on the field face-up. Inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each Level 4 or higher monster. - DARK: If the Synchro monster that used this card as a Synchro Material attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent.

The effect seems a bit bland. Light does burn and flips all set monsters making it vulnerable to Ryko, but it isn't being used that much nowadays so I guess it's ok. Dark is just bad. Piercing is ok but really, it's not that good.

This card can only be Special Summoned, by returning a banished LIGHT or DARK-attribute monster to your Graveyard. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that it was Summoned. When this card is removed from the field, banish the monster that was returned to your Graveyard by this card's effect.

Hmm, DAD Ammo, BLS-EotB/CS ammo, Necroface, MR/CotH ammo, Gold Sarc and etc. It comboes with a lot of cards and it isn't that bannable. Spirit is also a plus. It's a great card design.[/spoiler]

When this card destroys a monster in battle: Target 1 face-up monster; Change the target to face-down defense position.

With its 1100 ATK, it'll only be able to destroy things by battle during the Early Game where low levels frolic but when it comes to Middle to Late, when the field is swarmed with Synchros and Xyz and Boss monsters, you'd hope you have Debris->BRD/Dark Hole instead.[/spoiler]
