Grunt Issun Posted December 29, 2011 Report Share Posted December 29, 2011 I'd think what would be a good premise for the RP is this, we ARE all normal (Well that is to say, we're actually part of the world) ponies (And Pegasi, unicorns, Zebras etc). Anyway, we aren't the spirits of the elements of harmony, so we can exclude those, and this is long after the era of the Mane 6, so we can forget about them. So, some new evil has been unleashed into the world, not necessarily someone with an excuse to be evil, like Nightmare Moon, and not someone who's intentions are just pure chaos like Discord. Someone who IS evil, but has actual ambitions. If I were to use DnD termonolgy, he'd be Lawfully Evil, in the sense that he's evil, but he believes things need to follow a certain order, therefor, wants to take over the world. Us ponies, having spontaneously been together at the time this happens, would band together and go on an adventure to defeat the villain, but we'd have to do it without the elements. To better explain a few details, the evil will be released in the first few parts of the IC, and we'd all be together for one reason or another. Like, say, we were all just at a resteraunt, none of us actually knew each other, but we meet each other there, then when the evil is released, and everyone takes cover, all of us happen to hide together. Once we get the situation explained to us, some of the more brave ponies in our group will suggest that we go try and fight it some how, and somehow coax the others into coming along as well. He KNOWS he's pure evil, but he's evil like Bowser is evil, he wants to rule the world so that things will fall under his (Self-defined) perfect reign. In any case where the world was threatened, he would just as soon team up with the ponies to save it, just so he could rule it later. Know what I'm saying? It can give in-depth look at the bad guy :'D ...something tells me I'll have to actually create and control said bad guy in the RP xD but...I think he should have more than just "lolworldconquest" in his mind :T IDK maybe he DOES want to conquer the world, but he wants to conquer it because he feels it's the only way to bring eternal harmony to Equestria, and prevent Discord from awakening once again, especially since the Elements of Harmony are gone, so he won't be able to be stopped This leads to, eventually, Discord awakens, and becomes the main villain while the previous villain either joins the side of good (probably convinced by his daughter, though he would already be considering it), or is defeated and captured by discord,and we haz to defeat Discord Who, after a long time of slumber, would be more powerful than ever :'o @Arm-kun - POST EM POST EM POST EM <3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Unfortunately, I just started up my own RP, so one of three things can happen. 1. Somepony else can host the RP (With a few of us as co-hosts, probably) 2. We can wait until that RP dies, probably won't take long honestly. or 3. Perhaps he wants to conquer the world specifically so that no one will appose him, and so that the world will be more peaceful. Basically he'll still be a hated tyrant, but he'll be a hated tyrant for an actual reason. We know he's evil, and he wants to rule Equestria with an iron fist, both so that he can have the power, and so that there won't be conflict. I like the idea of our villain so far. You know looking back on it, being one of the few guys might actually be good, considering what I'm planning for Issun... Then again, maybe having a similar gender ratio would help as well...
