K-On!! Posted September 4, 2011 Report Share Posted September 4, 2011 Well, The Eevee and Pikachu one shows no real talent, basically just a re-colour..... The Ivasaur, Chameleon,Wartortle one, there isn't much wartortle on it except for a resized tail? No comment on the Gyrados, I'll leave that for someone like Jappio. ANBU Posted September 4, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 4, 2011 the eevee and pikachu as i said had barely any splicing (one pikachu ear...) probably justy shoulda of left it off.. the Ivysaur one has wartortle's ears and tail neither of which are resized saved em as .png.. deviantart probably killed the quality when i uploaded i'll upload em to my PB.. Posted September 13, 2011 Report Share Posted September 13, 2011 start with smaller sprites and get more practice before showing them off. the claw was...unnecessary. the third one: the fire doesn't look like it is meant to be there at all. try some scratching to make it fit into the hole the leaves protrude out of in ivysaur/venusaur. otherwise, good for a beginner. ANBU Posted September 23, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 23, 2011 removed the eevee + Pikachu one, fixed up ursaring splice (as per golden's suuggestion), tried to splice the flames better on the Ivysaur one (going along golden's suggestion/tip..) made a couple more splices (a Charmander + Squirtle * a Deoxys Splice (Deoxys Base..)) sorry if i should probably go make some for a while before considering adding any here but this is the only site that i go on that anyone would actually give any feedback for these ^^' Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Work on quality and shading, do not add random pieces for the sake of simply making a "diverse" creature, it doesn't work like that. It looks identical.[/b] [/quote] no.. i used Charmander's arms (though the difference in parts may seem minimal didn't his keep squirtle's arms? [plus i failed at attempting some scratching with the shell if it isn't obv.]) and i think I'll stay away from pokeball splicing till i get better at normal splicing.. ^^' Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
