Revamped Fusions

So, fusions. The original extra deck cards. Unfortunately many of them are old bad cards, with bad stats, specific (bad) materials and no effects. So here's some new versions, with effects and more generic materials (although the materials used for the original meet the requirement for these.)
Witch of Cursed Sand (based on Mystical Sand):

1 EARTH monster + 1 Spellcaster-Type monster.
Once per turn: Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; whilst that card is face-up on the field it's effect is negated, it's ATK and DEF become 0, and it cannot declare an attack.

Marine Dragon (Based on Aqua Dragon):

1 Dragon-Type monster + 2 Fish, Sea Serpent or Aqua-Type monsters
When this card attacks: Negate the effects of Spell and Trap cards until the end of the Damage Step. Once whilst this card is face-up on the field: You can Special Summon 1 of this card's Fusion Material Monsters from your Graveyard.

Solar Red Bird (based on Crimson Sunbird)

2 Winged Beast-Type monsters
When this card is Fusion Summoned, you can destroy Spell or Trap Cards up to the number of Winged Beast-Type monsters used as Fusion Material Monsters. When this card leaves the field after being Summoned by Fusion Summon: Destroy 1 card on the field.

Steel Dragon (based on Metal Dragon)

1 Machine-Type monster + 1 Dragon-Type monster
When this card is Fusion Summoned: It gains ATK equal to half the ATK of 1 Dragon-Type monster used as a Fusion Material Monster. When this card attacks a Defense Position monster: You can return that monster to the hand before Damage Calculation.

Dark Spectre Rosa (based on Rose Spectre of Dunn)

1 DARK Monster + 1 Plant-Type monster.
Once per turn: You can equip 1 face-up monster your opponent controls to this card. This card gains ATK equal to the level of the monster equipped to this card by this effect x100. Only 1 monster can be equipped to this card by this effect. When this card you control is sent to the Graveyard whilst equipped with a monster by this effect: Special Summon this card.

Skull Vulture (based on Skullbird):

1 WIND monster + 1 DARK monster.
When this card destroys a monster by battle: You can pay 800 Life Points; banish that monster instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Manhunter Shark (based on Man-Eating Black Shark):

3 Fish, Sea Serpent or Aqua-Type monsters.
A Fusion Summon of this card can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters. This card can attack up to three monsters your opponent controls during the same Battle Phase.
Steel Dragon was my favorite card when I was just starting. (Dark duel stories. Yeah!)

I wish it weren't a machine and a dragon, I can't think of any reason to use it.

The only 2 cards I can see actually finding use are Solar Red Bird and Dark Spectre Rose.

Thanks for the comments.

Ragnorok: Witch's effect can only be used in your Main Phase, meaning it's vulnerable to whatever your opponent does in their turn. It's typing will also be potentially tricky to summon (I've been considering making it an EARTH monster rather than a Rock-Type, if anyone has any thoughts about that let me know), and it's ATK score is sub-par, which is where the ATK to 0 part of the effect comes in - you'll probably run over what gets hit by the effect, so it wouldn't usually matter if it lasts more than a turn.

Therrion: I figured that since it gets no direct benefit from equipping more than one monster it wouldn't be too much of a problem. I'll make it face-up, or even face-up attack monsters only, to give the opponent options, although I'll consider only equipping one monster at a time.

I always love revamped vanilla fusions (as specific as that is). What I love even more is that with Super Poly, alot of these guys become anti-support for certain decks.

Witch of Cursed Sand: Easy to summon with Super Poly and wonderful eff. I though it was OPed at first, but then I looked at the average stats. Being a Rock-Type, it won't see much abuse as if it were a Spellcaster.
Marine Dragon: Probably the hardest to summon unless, again, you Super Poly. But that is countered by it's one-time Material Summon eff, usually only grabbing a fish for some kind of fodder. The Ancient Gear eff is a nice bonus as well.
Solar Red Bird: Love that this card can be anti-BW. Your opponent can summon Shura and Gale, you Super Poly both into SRB, then destroy their backrow. 2300 is great to beatstick with afterward, while the second destruction eff is balanced in that it only works with the initial Fusion Summon.
Steel Dragon: That better be a big dragon you used, otherwise the ATK gain will never be enough to mess with. The second eff is odd, not in function, just the selection of what it's being used by. The Machine+Dragon material may be a letdown as well (though it does work for a fan-deck I made XD).
Dark Spectre Rosa: Easily summoned and abusable. Steal an opp's monster, die and come back for Round 2. Plant Decks could use some more abuse though, I guess they're being *sunglasses* weeded out.
Skull Vulture: Great eff, subpar stats. Laughable cost to banish in battle. Easy to summon as well. Looks fine to me.
Manhunter Shark: Hard to summon, even with the swarming abilities of the deck. Anytime you could grab Manhunter, you could go into something better. The triple attack is awesome, but it's ATK is too low to truly abuse. Unless you're swinging for game, he'll never leave the Extra Deck.
