Nu-Mou Knight
Why hello there, TCG. I don't visit here too often, and I'm not too familiar with the current competitive state, so I have a question to pose to you frequenters of the competitive scene: What are the most threatening Archetypes for each Type? Feel free to name any for any Type that you feel is the worst, but I'm mainly looking for answers to these: PyroSpellcasterThunderRockWinged BeastBeast-WarriorBeastReptileAquaSea SerpentFish I am aware that some Archetypes cross Type boundaries, but if one is majorly made up of a certain Type, just put it under that one. I'm using these results as part of a set of mine in CC, so I'd greatly appreciate good information. Also, if you could, feel free to explain why it's so powerful/better than a comparative Arch. Thank you for your time.
Guest Rupert Giles
Watts are pretty awesome for Thunder Types.
Guest ~King Crouton~
The problem is, many archetypes cross into various types. T.G.s have multiple types, but the Beast/Beast-Warriors are the ones that get used. Genexs are Machines and Spellcasters. Sabers have Beast-Warriors, Warriors, and Insects. Etc. Warriors-6Sams
Bringerofcake
Fish, Sea Serpent and Aqua types are pretty much lumped into one type. While some may have special cards devoted to that type (mostly fish), most of the support is for all of the types. That being said, Gishki is boss for the three I previously mentioned, as well as Banisharks. Dragunity is Winged-Beast/DragonLaval and Flamvell are Pyro

Guest Guardian Ceal
Genexs are Machines and Spellcasters. I'm still confused by this. They ARE machines. ****, the storyline said they were. Why the aquas and spellcasters???
NumberCruncher
I'm still confused by this. They ARE machines. ****, the storyline said they were. Why the aquas and spellcasters??? Because Konami wants to confuse you. They did that with Scraps too.
Jord200
Because Konami wants to confuse you. They did that with Scraps too. And Mainspring/Wind Up.

Warriors-6Sams I figured that, I just asked for one that would be mostly composed of a certain Type. For example, as you said, TGs are mostly Beast-Warrior. Therefore, they'd be considered the Beast-Warrior Archetype. As for 6Sams, I've not been under a rock long enough to not know that. Fish, Sea Serpent and Aqua types are pretty much lumped into one type. While some may have special cards devoted to that type (mostly fish), most of the support is for all of the types. Thanks for actually answering a part of my question.Pyro Flamvell/Laval, mostly mixed with Lightsworn, not the most competitive I'm going by Type, so Flamvell/Laval? I'm not aware of any Pyro LSWs.Spellcaster Gravekeepers if anything Hmm...that works.Thunder Watts/Batterymen Figured. Is one any better than the other?Rock Mainly anti-meta, no real archtypes Any uniting qualities, then?Winged Beast BWs if anything Again, figured. Are they better than Dragunities, or are you kinda biased?Beast-Warrior If you count Gladiator Beasts then yeah Okay.Beast XX-Sabers? Dunno... Eh, if people can't think of one I can skip that.Reptile Aliens probably No Venoms? Alright.Aqua Frogs, typically frognarchs Gotcha.Sea Serpent lol Idk, the game changes.Fish Big Fish doesn't need a f*cking archtype Sorry, but Big Fish? Just so you all understand the point of this question, I'm essentially trying to counter them in some small capacity.
Ieyasu Tokugawa
So you're trying to make a perfect deck? Good luck with that.
Nu-Mou Knight
No no, no perfect Decks. Just finding some way to defend slightly against those sorts of threats. I'm not looking the singular "Watt Killer" or "Flamvell Killer".

I'm not looking for some "Watt Killer" or "Flamvell Killer". If you want good anti-meta, Thunder King Rai-Oh, Doomcaliber Knight, Effect Veiler, ect. all help against several different types of decks, but I doubt that's what you were looking for. Nu-Mou Knight
I'm using it for an in-progress set in CC, not Deck Making per se.
Ieyasu Tokugawa
Sadly Anti-Meta dies to crap decks, like how my Empty Jar deck managed to lose to a bad sam deck because of Shien.
Nu-Mou Knight
Can I safely assume that Miror (and Rupert and Cakebringer, but Miror answered the whole list) was pretty spot-on?
