Master of Sabers Posted September 25, 2011 Report Share Posted September 25, 2011 Personally, I don't like taking out golem. Yes, it can be a dead draw, but with one copy, that rarely happens. Plus, when he gets into the grave, usually via scrapstorm, you have insurance that a surprising amount of duelists neglect to remember. On the other hand, TKing Rai Oh is amazing, as is Horn. It's a tough decision, put my personal preference would be to keep the golem, and maybe neg one goblin for something. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
El Majishan Posted September 26, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 26, 2011 Golem won me a few games today, I'm most def dropping Monk....I always knew it was meh.....but today I didnt use it at all..I drew it and always wished it was something else...I already replaced it with a 3rd duality I picked up today. Funny story in round 5....it went to Time and after the 5 turns we were tied at 6800...so it came down to first damage wins... He has 1 face down monster, 2 back rows and 1 card in hand...I have Scarp dragon and reborn in hand...I drew Goblin. I tried usually scrap shenanigans by setting Goblin and blowing it up with Dragon's effect to recycle my Chimera....I think he has Torrential and some other stupid card (COTH or something) set so I held my Reborn in hand. He Veilers my Dragon so I'm like no biggy he cant get over my Dragon and Goblin can't die by battle....He summons Debris...gets Tuning Ware...plays his facedown Machine Dupe (he bluffed the s*** out of me) and Synch for BRD...I'm thinking he's gonna blow up everything to try and reset the field...I completely forgot BRD had a 2nd effect.....he puts my goblin in ATK position and goes for game :/..........so my day ended 3-2 (I lost to Double Hyperion in round 3) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
