[/quote] Perhaps a slightly further elaboration is in order. The white supremacy he refers to is a result of Britannian, Social Darwinism that was rampant during the Victorian era. That same Brittania (no CG references) twisted Social Darwinism in a solipsistic manner out of fear of their beautiful country falling. As they colonized and attempted to expand their power and land, they applied their social and economic structure to their colonies as well. To slightly explain, their social scene had been highly authoritarian in favor of the wealthy. The poor would live in subsistence only to be spat upon by the rich, who never had to dirty their eyes with vision of the poor due to the sinister structure of the cities. The factories that produce that black smoke were put at positions, for example, where that gaseous waste would never cloud the wealthy skies and only pollute the cesspool where the poor resided. If a term such as "f*****" or "n*****" is consistently used by the appropriately oppressed group, they will lose some of their offensive meaning. [/quote] "Intellectual" White Supremacy is merely eugenics based on class and creed - it is a corruption of Social Human Darwinism, and was championed by many intellectuals in America and by much of the British Empire. White supremacy in the South is just out of race-hate. The KKK weren't Social Darwinists. Their brand of racism was an emotional one, not an intellectual one. The KKK just wanted blacks to be subjugated, enslaved and wiped out of the white gene pool. They were using the same brand of White Supremacy, just dumbed down. [/quote] Funny how that's the modern definition of racism in politically sensitized areas. Straight and white pride parades should be allowed. It's just that most people who would care enough to do that would be bigots, and society has come to assume you ARE a bigot for doing that so people that aren't bigots wouldn't have the spine to do it for that reason or see much point in it, so the whole thing is a self-fabricated issue.
