Jazin Kay
We've summed up this topic without mentioning the card it's abused with [/thread]
Or we can be people and continue discussing it. I have friends online now spreading the deck across DN, and more friends overseas passing the combo details over Youtube and other forums. My friends tell me that the rod will be banned because of this. I'm skeptical, but I'd be willing to push it to see what happens, mostly to drink the delicious chagrin of the people I know trying to keep this a secret. .Rai
It is rather inconsistent. I mean, it's godly and all, but it's just an OTK. If they can't OTK, they will lose from their opponent's OTK. Simple as.

.Rai
If the loop doesn't push for an OTK, they will lose. I mean, seriously. It's like using Brionac first turn, when you can't attack.
evilfusion
Because there's more to the game than going for an OTK that can be easily stopped. Other decks have lots of opportunities for big plays, but they're more consistent for a long game standpoint.

If they don't pull the combo off, they are just a more inconsistent version of normal Vylons. And Vylons don't top because they are basically a Synchro spam deck with big beatsticks. Most decks can do that, but they are generally much quicker than Vylons.
Legend Zero
Veiler, Trag, Gorz, Any type of removal, MST, Traps, Reaper, Fader, all sorts of things that are commonly used stop both OTKs. And from what I've seen, I'm one of the few who doesn't go all out on Xyz, but syncs too. I seriously say it'll be a Tier 2 deck at peek. (barring any other released cards of course) It's fun as hell, but not a champion deck.

You said yourself that the Sigma combo is superior, thus is isn't the only thing they can do. This is a "player raeg" engine. Lol. Oh wait, you'll just say I can Fader anything and moot any argument for anything.
.Rai
Yes, but Vylon Loop OTK pulls off Sigma OTK much worse than standard Vylons. Meaning you basically just have 2 slightly inconsistent combos in one mishmash of a deck. Plus, there's hardly space for both combos without sacrificing consistency or removal.
"Mishmash of a deck"? No? It may not be OMFG THE BESS DEK, but it has consistency. Photon Veil is absurd and I will be hoarding them. Unless they're commons. .Rai
Of all things, I would, at max, run Photon Veil at 1 in Vylons. They have no need for 3 of the same card anyway. They just need combo parts. Chances are that you have the combo parts anyway if you have 3 LIGHT monsters in your hand.
Legend Zero
If anyone tries to pull of the Sigma OTK in the Element Loop then they're an idiot. I rarely (if ever) go for Sigma in the Element Loop. Both decks have the same fault. Dead Hands. Numerous times I've opened all Spells, mostly equips, and just can't get going. And the problem is you can't do anything about it. That's 1 reason the Sigma OTK is more consistent, it doesn't require as many Equips (the other being you need fewer pieces). And Photon Veil is bad in Vylons. What card would I want 3 of in my hand? The Element Loop should be fetching my monsters, and Sigma OTK wouldn't want it either. Jazin Kay
Oh, yes. Same. It's been suggested to me to throw in Magical Mallet to put tuners you want Element to summon in the deck, but I don't know. probably not, but good thinking. Fableds like it better. 3x Grimo. <
