WTF is a Disrupt Deck to you?
I only considered 3 types of Strategys in TCGs in General and those are Control, Aggro and Combo...Combo is not the weakest one...all OTK/FTK are Combo in essence...

Combo are decks that rely nearly completely on that combo.

Gallis = Combo/Swarm/Control

It's a hybrid deck, with one significant combo in it.

Decks that have just cards that work well together don't count as combo decks, because that's not a combo. Infernities, I would partially count as a disrupt deck. Mainly because upon getting out your infinite Trishula loops, you basically win. So they, while not relying on it, do have many 'finishers'.

Cursed, you're overcomplicating things. As Venser said, there are 3 main decktypes: Aggro, Combo and Control. "Disrupt" and other s*** you're talking about are subclasses.

Examples of aggro decks: Any form of beatdown or clearly swarm-focused decks (Six Samurais)
Combo: Decks that focus on assembling certain card combinations to achieve victory. Most OTK decks belong here, if not all of them. (Gallis, Infernity)
Control: They usually play game at slow peace while keeping the field and hands in grasp and maintaining advantage equal, or even gaining it. (Rockstun, T.G.)

I actually did say that there are very little true Disrupt type decks. Only disruptive cards teched into other decks. I just include it, just because it completes the pentagon correctly. The last category is for miscellaneous crap.

Aggro is a subtype of Control.

Deck > Control/Swarm > Beatstick > Aggro

That's Aggro's classification, if I get it correctly. Aggro is a type of beatstick, taking elements from a pure beatstick, and beatstick is a type of control deck.

I will admit that the way I classify Swarm as a separate type means Combo bleeds into Swarm much more though. The distinction is actually clearer in other TCGs.

There is not such pentagon TCGs in General has been based in the 3 main Categories (exception being Pokemon which works in a very diferent but still has the form of the 3 main Types of Deck (Haymaker was aggro, Damage Swap was Combo, the Deck with Slowking was control)

False...
Aggro is at the same level as control cannot be a Subcategory

IDK WTF is going on in this statement

No Aggro Deck mainly rely on their Creatures/Monsters more than enything else...they hit and hit fast...they are overhelming...Being Aggrocontrol is a very Diferent thing

It is Becuase Yugimonz Focus on Comboing with mostly monsters too much...Swarming the field too much is a very Aggro Behaivour...

That's why it shouldn't be considered a category. Why have a category for 2-3 decks? Better put them in Control and call it a day.

Laughed my ass off, really. Control and Aggro are completly different. How is swarming field with lots of big monsters similiar in any way to keeping opponent's plays hindered while slowly finishing them off? Aggro decks are very fast, control are slow.

Swarm = Aggro for heaven's sake. How are those 2 different in any way?

tl;dr - CR, stop trying to sound like a pro, you're doing it wrong

:3 I've always had little distinction between control and aggro. Guess I was pretty wrong :>

*off scrapping half da theory*

Although, I guess aggro is still basically swarm. So the theoretical pentagon still works. The problem of making it a triangle (What I assume people think is Aggro/Swarm, Control and Combo) is that subtyping everything else does lead to way too many exceptions and wrong cases.

Not really trying to act like a pro though, just someone interested in the game mechanics. And quite clueless about it.
