No, not that evolution.

It was something that has happened for many years. That was how we were created. That was how we became setient [s]mechanical beings from the planet Cybertron[/s]

Discuss our evolution, and the evolution of other species.
And evolution in general, whether its a phony and whether fossils were a mere creation of Satan's mischief.

Evolution occurred in the past when animals changed to adapt to their environment. Now, we change the environment to best suit ourselves. Natural selection doesn't exist in humans any more, apart from in some very unfortunate 3rd world areas where survival of the fittest really is the decisive factor. Doubt we'll see evolution in humans unless there was some freak global disaster.

That's a good point. Humans don't need to adapt anymore. The environment adapts to humans.

For other species, it ain't very good.
Imagine. The world doesn't have room for two sentient species. [s]Good thing we're hunting 'em down faster than tjhey can evolve.[/s]

The bible never says anything about cats either.

Seriously what logic is she using here?

I've heard some very decent explanations about how evolution and religion could BOTH be right, but extremists seem to think anything that even hints that they're wrong is blasphemy and sin :I

After reading that, I'm starting to be sad about being a part of the same religion as them... Hell, I'm depressed about being in the same SPECIES as her.
I feel your pain.

Of all things she makes a big fuss about THIS.

Maybe Nephliums may just be fossil evidence of ancient humans after all. Either that or they're just very, very, big E.T.s of ancient times. Implying that we may have alien herita-

*getsshot*

[s]and that God may be an alien. As I have heard.[/s]

That picture is just someone naive going on about stuff they no nothing about. No reason to cry about it. In the grand scheme of things, human intelligence doesn't vary that much. It just seems that way due to relativity.

Evolution, if I'm correct, is a species slowly adapting to changes and those changes continuing to be passed on to the generation. This, hypothetically, is how large changes could take place.

Also, I'm pissed at the OP for posting a Pokemon, because I was going to just post that so I wouldn't have to say something legitimate.

I think Simon and Lewis did a good explanation of Evolution on the YoGPoD... Okay, not THAT good of one.

Yea that was good.

BTW, I am Dave! Yogpod, and I have the balls.

Humans probably will evolve no longer, as we are changing our environment to suit us, rather than adapting to a new environment. Even so, there's always robotic exoskeletons, although we will probably need a smaller power source for it than a battery the size of a backpack.
Anyways, this is probably the best example of science over religion.

I think we'll continue to evolve. Not in a lot of freaky ways - just intellectually. Our brains will continue to grow, and we will continue to learn more. We'll gradually become a physically weaker species, but we'll continue to grow intellectually.
At least, that's my humble opinion.

I agree with this. Though there are still a lot plagues and things out there that could change how we develop. Though if we do evolve it will be ahead of our time.

I won't say that people like her weren't part of the reason I left...

Humans should evolve so that we can grow tails. :3

Are humans evolving anymore? iirc the only change that's happened in a long time is our height.
I heard our skulls have been growing a bit in comparison to the body over the last 5000 years.

Like Yankee said, maybe we'd end up with giant heads and tiny bodies.

We un-grew tails, sadly. In evolution, it may be least likely to grow back what we lost.

But then again, Cetaceans have evolved to become fish-like once more like the earliest days, so why can't we grow tails again too?

OW MY GIANT BLUE HEAD.
I'm positive the Nephilims had bigger brains.

We may use scientific advancements to minorly alter the genetic codes of our decendants and synthetise evolution.
And as we evolve we gradually go down the food chain.
