Eisenfalke (Machine Single)

Max Darkness

A slightly odd effect for interest.

Enjoy.

Effect: At the start of your turn: You can have this card become inapplicable for all cards, until the Battle Phase of your next turn. If you do: During that Battle Phase; When this card attacks, your opponent cannot apply card effects until the end of the Damage Step. Once per turn: You can have this card gain ATK and DEF equal to the ATK and DEF of 1 Machine-Type monster you control, until the End Phase. That monster cannot attack this turn.

Max, can you first explain what you meant by inapplicable please?
When a card becomes 'inapplicable', it vanishes from the field in the view of other cards. When it becomes 'inapplicable', the only thing that recognises it is its Monster Card Zone (in that it knows it is occupied). In that sense, it cannot attack (since it isn't seen on the field), cannot activate its effect (same reason) and if it was the only monster you control, cannot defend your Life Points. In addition, neither player can use any card effects on it, so cannot increase its ATK/DEF/Level, cannot be used for effects, and is not counted as being on the field.

Oh, so it cannot attack while it's inapplicable?

Then it's not very broken.

So it's like phasing, huh?

Anyways, seems interesting.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Summon this.
Lower Machina Fortress to 0 for effect.
Machine Dupe.

You're right. I'll give that a look at.

It's indeed an interesting effect. Basicly it 'flies out of range' until your next turn. It kinda remember's me of 'Dark Castle of Illusions' in Season 1. Luckily Catapult Turtle's no longer used anymore. XD
Ehem, back to the card. It's excelent Machine support. Probebly deadly combined with Machina's.

I'd give it a 9.2/10 mostly for it's interesting 'dodging method'.

I'm trying to get the last effect to be as un-abusable as possible in regards to Machine Special Summoning. I'll probably need to rethink that completely at some point.

Thanks for rating.

It already says 'until the Battle Phase of your next turn', so there's no confusion as to when it happens.
