Mehmani
...So one made a card that stops the TGU-Sangan play, swarming strategies, gets round Evol effect-negation and hopefully does something else good if played this format. I don't know, this was knocked up in a few minutes. Think of it as Kasier Colosseum twinned with Rai-Oh. First RC thread since mid-July. Image credit goes to dA. Constructive criticism is a necessity. Rulings: You can activate the second effect if either player controls more than two monsters. The player who activates this card must remove monster(s) from both sides of the field from play until both players control only two monsters. The removed monster(s) are returned at the End Phase. Blake
Should be a continuous trap, and the first effect should read "Neither player can add cards to their hand except by drawing them during the Draw Phase." It feels broken to me with the inability to do anything but draw during the Draw Phase (Hideously broken without that draw, in a similar fashion to Royal Oppression mixed with Yata Garasu). Might want to change it to simply TKRO's effect .~. Did you mean the add to be from Deck only, or Graveyard, too? Broken cards to counter broken cards is a bad idea, tbh. And you realize Sangan doesn't search if detached anymore, right? ._.

The fact it isn't a continuous trap is entirely intentional (one forgot to add an "until the End Phase" clause, that was the original idea). Thank you for pointing that out, it would be awfully broken without said clause. You appear to have not read the card properly - activate ONE of the following effects, not both. Edited. Blake
I read it, the second effect was just no matter, and the first effect was a big matter. And on top of that, did not say "Until the End phase". =/ It's still broken, considering it's now a one-turn lock on the opponent, and you get to yuck it up when it's your turn.
It is impossible to capitalize on this effect as such. There was method in the madness - activating this during your opponent's turn only locks them out of certain big plays. Activating this in your turn prevents you from doing the same. If you could actually provide examples or explanations as to how and why this card is broken, then one would be more than happy to take your gripe seriously. This Account is Unplayable
Yeh, this really isn't broken. At all. It's a one-turn Rai-Oh, there's nothing wrong with that. However, with the last effect, would rulings prevent you from choosing it if either player already controlled more than 2 monsters?
Blake
The second effect ain't so bad, it's just a small lock that lasts until the end of the turn, and stops that damn OTK that was coming after you. This card is chainable, so they can activate, say, Allure/Avarice/Etc. and you just screw them over. They drop Maxx C on your turn? Nope, chain this, keep going. MST and heavy are laughed at, and you get to seal your opponent in a way that can only be stopped by wasting a Solemn (Or tools if for some reason they run it), or Barkion/Shi En/LOLDecree. It's a -1, in and of itself, but it stalls/stops +s. It's almost always gonna be a +0, that keeps them from furthering their game. It can be used during either turn to lock down said advantage gaining, as well, and would either be used as Bait or as Trap Dustshoot timing. .Rai
I'd point out that this is a great inventive card, if perhaps slightly ineffective. The second effect will nearly be dead except on Turn 1, or against decks with less field advantage. In this format, I doubt it anyway. You try to make this a Tour Guide counter, but it seems to have been solely built for that. In any other case, it really only functions as a +0 T.G. count or a X-Saber counter. Both of which aren't full Tier 1 decks, perhaps only Tier 1.5. Plants aren't affected by this since they run Rai-Oh themselves. Dark Worlds only suffer a slower game, but that's pretty much it. I wouldn't really mind if you boosted this card.
