If you control a Spellcaster-Type monster or a Dragon-Type monster and your opponent does not, your opponent cannot activate Spell Cards and Trap Cards. If you control no Spellcaster-Type monsters or a Dragon-Type monster, you cannot activate Spell Cards and Trap Cards.

You do realize he was making a joke that the cards are insanely overpowered, right? The new card is almost more overpowered, since any sort of slightly dedicated deck will be shutting down almost half of your opponent's Deck, especially since the effect means that only monster effects can destroy it.

 

Edit: I'm assuming that edit was directed at me. My point was this: ANY SORT OF DEDICATED DECK WILL SHUT YOUR OPPONENT DOWN. Since Spellcasters aren't that common outside Gravekeepers (which seem to be moving south), and with Dragons also losing ground outside of Dragunity and the Armed Dragons (these are from what I've seen, not necessarily fact), your opponent is locked far too easily.
