If this card is Special Summoned from the Graveyard, it is sent to the Graveyard during the End Phase. While face-up on the field, this card is unaffected by card effects. The ATK and DEF of this card are each equal to the number of cards in your hand ×1000. When a monster(s) is Summoned face-up on your opponent’s side of the field, decrease its ATK or DEF by 2000 points, based on its battle position. Ænema Posted November 2, 2011 Report Share Posted November 2, 2011 Because this effect is basically the animes, and having your opponents monsters attack decrease while yours can be up to 5000 is overpowered. 99.9% of all monsters will have a lower attack than this cards after that effect, and because its not affected by other cards effects, its wasy too broken to be honest. Dandorian Posted November 3, 2011 Report Share Posted November 3, 2011 i'd say that the effect would have basicly be 3 monsters to tribute, can't be special summoned or set, effects don't activate the turn it is normal summoned, stays around for one turn coming from the graveyard after being sent there, atk is determined by number of cards X 1000, and make a payment for decreasing a monster's attack by 2000. The Jazz Posted November 7, 2011 Report Share Posted November 7, 2011 This is really similar to the original Slifer (which I suppose your idea was), so therefore it almost makes it impossible to make it legal (well, not legal, just not overpowered as heck), unless you add a few downsides (which there are, but not enough). Maybe take it as a basis or whatever. Effect: This card cannot be Set or Special Summoned. This card cannot be Normal Summoned except by Tributing 3 Dragon-Type monsters. Gojira/Godzilla Posted November 12, 2011 Report Share Posted November 12, 2011 an ok card 6/10. but the original slifer the sky dragon had and attack and defence of X000. but ignoring that,it is a good card,(i hope they make a legal slifer soon). i know how to balance slifer's effect about destroying monster(s) with less than 2000 attack or defence: make it so that if your opponent special summons a monster(s),destroy the monster(s) summoned that have less than 2000 attack or defence(depending on position).
