kyop
I think the right OCG would be "This card gains the effect of its XYZ Materials. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed: you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card instead." IMO it gaining the monsters effect it makes it so overpowered (dunno the term to it S: ) You should make it detach 1 XYZ Material from it to gain its eff... and still leave the option to detach 1 material to negate the destruction of it ^^
Max Darkness
OCG Fix: 2 Level 4 WATER Monsters This card gains the effects of the monsters used to Summon it (if any). Once per turn: If this card would be destroyed; You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card instead. Break is right, allowing it to siphon its Material Monsters effects continuously is probably broken, and detaching a material to gain that effect is probably a better option. OCG Fix for that: 2 Level 4 WATER Monsters You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: This card gains the (printed) effect of that monster (if any), until your opponent's End Phase. Once per turn: If this card would be destroyed; You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card instead.
ragnarok1945
the gaining effects of the WATER monsters is OPed unless you make the effect gain only temporary
Ieyasu Tokugawa
Da fuq guys? What WATER monsters would it use that would make it OP'd? E-HERO Ocean?
Strider Tigerwolf
Da fuq guys? What WATER monsters would it use that would make it OP'd? E-HERO Ocean?
I'm with this guy. There aren't that many worthy candidates for eff gain anyway (yet) that are specifically level 4 WATER monsters. I mean, the best I can see is something with clodians and something with HEROes, but nothing major or worth playing tbh. The card is fine as it is. Synchronized
I guess it would be cool with Abyss Soldier, but not broken at all.
Demon From The Void
Can the people who say this card is overpowered give me an example of cards that could be used to make this overpowered, because I can't think of many Level 4 Water monsters with good effects. Synchronized
It's not overpowered at all.

CDDRodrigo
Card is fine as it is. The OCG fix of Max Darkness is correct, too.

crystalfeet
Actually there is a way to over power it. But its too time consuming and you gotta be like Yugi Moto or Kaiba or Jaden(Judai) to play it. First of the genex ally category of cards can change the attributes of selected monsters so can DNA transplant(don't remember it's name really point is it can too). Then you can make your own water monster(s) next by leveling down monsters you could have killer effects as well. But this is only theory. In practice its quite hard to pull out. So the card does test the users skill. and smarts. So it is quite good. But 2100 atk is a bit too much to handle.
