Not as good. I really think it lacks the charm that Teen Titans did, but it looks like YJ is trying to take the Batman Animated approach. In that sense, it still fails.

Really? I think it is slightly better than Teen Titans but to each his own. Never watched much of the Batman cartoons, was more into the movies myself. I don't like that Aqualad is in it, but at least they have made him more useful than Aquaman is to the Justice League

You should, the episodes can really tell a story. It holds up well today.

Aqualad didn't bother me, it's just how the show was executed altogether. In my eyes, it seems like it really tries to be for a more mature audience, but is held back by itself. I think it's afraid from trying to make itself darker.

Like I said it didn't bother me as much once I realized he actually had more use than I originally thought. Well there is supposed to be a big plot thing going on soon, with the anti-Justice League(lol forgot what the band of villains called themselves). I am surprised that they have stuck with the same basic plot all the way through. I mean the banding of villains I thought would be resolved in the first few episodes, but was pleasantly surprised that the plot ran deeper than my original thinking. Maybe the show will get darker soon.

I get where you coming from, it does seem like they are trying to appeal to a more mature audience, but don't want to overdo it. So they stuck themselves in between which may not work as well as they thought it would.

only ever saw one episode... it was okay but it lacks the charm of teen titans... that or i grew up and out of cartoons

I'll agree up to the point of growing out of cartoons.

I think it YJ is more mature than Teen Titans, who had the more cartoonish and anime feel, but in my opinion it is interesting too see it being produced.

My only problem is that they do not have Donna Troy in it yet and Meggan's catch phrase which makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon each time I hear it.

I too hate Meggan's catch phrase...but almost all shows have an annoy catch phrase to go with them (Hello Yuma, you feeling the flow?).
