Can't be as long as your boring articles.
WAY LONGER.
Chapter One: Individual's path
Outside of the headquarters, the early-morning light coldly off the barbs of a high barricade fence that straddled the highway directly in front of a lone, glowing figure standing on the only tower that is still standing. Signs mounted on the fence said DANGER and NO ADMITTANCE. A large triangular sign had a skull in one corner, a running man in another, and a radiation symbol in the third. Farther down the highway, about twenty yards beyond the barricades, the grimy, dust-covered remains of a sign were embedded upside down in the dirt.
WELCOME TO SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA.
The glowing figure, or Crimson Blade 04, jumps down from the tower and lands with ease. In his point of view, he was faced with the high barricade fence that prevented entry to the contamination zone. At Vector, the last inhabitable town before the zone, a group of soldiers came from one of the buildings and they had turrned off the highway and continued north toward where Crimson was lurking at. One of the soldiers saw Crimson wearing an unease face, "You scared of a fallout?" the soldier asked, flashing the flashlight on his gun to him. Crimson ignored him. But in truth, he was starting to wonder if this was a good idea bring humans to a dangerous mission. A large-sized soldier came from the group, maybe the captain, walked up to Crimson, "Are you sure it's infected...that place we need to go to?" He asked. Crimson finally made a move and eyed on the captain, "Yes, I'm sure, now just put your suits on, all of you. But if you want to go into the zone without a hazmat suit, that's up to you." Crimson ordered a robot that hovers to bring suits and masks for the soldiers. "Masks too?" said the first soldier that talked to Crimson. Soon after the conversation, a pickup truck came from the other side of the fence and stopped front of the soldiers. The driver got out of the truck and walked to the back of the pickup truck, he unhooks and opens the back door. "This is your ride to the zone" said the driver.

9 walked slowly through the streets of the once busy city. Dust flew in the air as a good gust of wind kicked up, smearing the earth onto his helmet. A gloved hand wiped the dirt away as his breathing sounded through the vents on the underside of the helmet. If no one knew any better, he might have been growling instead of exhaling from the sound. Thankfully he was alone right now. A slight rustle caught his attention, and slowly he scanned the area for signs of anything that could convey a signature of some life. He blinked a bit, the orbs that were his eyes watching everything from under the helmet that hid his face. His lip curved into a sneer, as a hand reached down and grazed the handle of one of the hilts of his swords on his hips. On his back were he more preferred weapons, the twin disks. He cracked his neck slowly as he moved on, keeping an eye out for anything out of the ordinary.

All was quiet in a ruined community college in the centre of San Francisco. The ruins were completely abandoned, save for a few rats and a black bear, silently sniffing around for any food. The bear came across a large metal cylinder. Suddenly, it made a loud hissing sound and released steam from almost invisible cracks, startling the bear. The bear froze for a few seconds before returning to its foraging. Then, a cry pierced the air.
"KIIIIIIYAAAAA!!!"
A panel of the cylinder burst off and smashed through the brick wall. The bear nearly jumped out of its fur and bolted out of the ruins as fast as its stubby legs would carry it. From within the cylinder, a blur of yellow zipped out. Ethereal Yellow Mark III looked out the hole made by the metal panel, shielding her eyes from the sun.
"80 meters! That must be a world record!" Ether cheered, pumping her fists into the air. She turned back to the cylinder and pulled out a long golden rifle from it, checking its function. She aimed down the scope, loaded a round and fired it into the air. The blast echoed through the ruins, slowly diminishing to nothing. She put her rifle against the wall and stretched out her body, making sure everything was working as usual. Finally, after a moment of hesitation, she closed her eyes and spoke to herself:
"Initialize AI Stealth Interface."
In her head, she could hear a voice, speaking in a sophisticated British accent.
"Booting default libraries. Greetings Ethereal Yellow Mark III. I will be assisting your active stealth systems. I hope we will synchronize our duties."
"Yeah yeah. Let's just go find the others," Ether said dismissively, grabbing her rifle and jumping out into the open air. She landed in a dirt field and disappeared.

In a large devated area of that ruined city there was a ruined building that was still standing up, on its very top there was a coated figure of a man holding a double bladed scythe, the figure had a bright white eye that was sparkling with the bare sunlight sinse the sun was blocked by clouds making a pure white sky, the figure looked back to see a broken capsule with the followign code carved on it's base "P.B.R.S. - P.N.07 - W.D.-" the man was reading a small book, he closed it and put it into his pocket, he grinned and said "Well then, time to reunite with the others." the man then jumped high and started leaping from ruined building to another, he was heading for a area very far from where he was, but he wouldn't take too much to get there if nothing slowed him down.

In a destroyed and abandoned park in San Fransisco there was a young looking girl, laying spread eagle on the ground looking up at the sky with a small smile on her face. She didn't look no older than 17, maybe 18. There wasn't a single imperfection on her skin, no blemish, mark, scar; nothing! The green pupil in her eye followed a single bird that flew over head until it was no longer seen, and as the bird flew further and further, the smile on her face became smaller and smaller.
"I wish we could trade places...."
The young girl spoke in a soft whisper. She sighed and closed her eyes finding peace in the demolished place she was in. "So I could be free...Maybe if I died then I could be free...But what would it matter? I don't have a soul that could be set free....What a sad exsistance I live." She said sitting up and stretching, her short cut dark hair swaying lightly in the small breeze that fluttered by.
"Such a peaceful day..."

The man continued on leaping quickly like he was running from rui to ruin, he was reaching a place near a old park, he then saw a bird that was about to cross with his path, he had to hit himself to not hit the inocent bird, because of the strenth and speed he was sent flying tilll near the park where he landed on a street, he got up a bit dizy and with his hand on his head saying "Ouch! I should had put a bit more of thoutgh on that..." he grabed his scythe and went walking trough the park to recover from the landing, he saw far from him a ficure landing on the ground, he sighed adn said "Hun... or it is another corpose that was left or another one of those weird things that apears to be humans but mutated... for once I wished that I could just be normal and on a normal world..." he then got near the figure but still a bit far from it, he could see that is looked like a female human.

Red Zone was quietly brandishing his Desert Eagle in a abandoned and demolished building. He was sitting against a demolished wall on the second floor with his foot out into the open. He put the rag that he was using inside one of his pockets on his vest. He spun the gun and sheathed it in it's holster and sighed. He looked out into the open and saw nothing but a ruined city and a small park. He looked down at the park and saw old dead trees, a broken swing set, and something spread out. He gave the figure a closer look and saw it was one of his comrades laying on her back. He gave a small grunting sound and continued staring out. Suddenly he heard stomping feet on the roof above him, he stood up and traced the foot steps with the sound and aimed his gun to follow the footsteps. A figure dropped down and it was yet another one of his colleagues but he it seemed as if he was going to attack the other one. He hopped down from the ledge and slid down some debris and walked up to his fellow Prototype. " Calm your self 07 it is just one of us," Red Zone said to the man with a stern yet settle voice. God why must the others be so foolish, he thought to himself in disgust.

9 walked up slowly, having seen movement in his scanners of his helmet. He lept off a small pile of debris, landing on another one behind 5 and Red. He exhaled, again sounding like a growl as he watched them carefully before speaking one phrase. "You talk too much." His voice was gruff, and under his helmet he sounded more mechanical than human. He rested on the pile, crouched in a stance that would remind anyone of a frog, or of that long forgotten superhero Spider-man. He exhaled again, blinking under his helmet as his eyes soon focused on the girl in the distance, wondering if the other two would actually walk up to her.

Winter gazed about her as she wandered through the ruined streets, staring at the cracked road and the once proud buildings that made up the grand city now reduced to nothing more than shapeless stone. It was almost saddening to see such a thing come to pass like this, but Winter's face betrayed no emotion and instead continued on her journey. She had woken but a few hours ago, alone in the basement of a long dead building, with only a single thought in her head; find the others and stop the invasion. She had been wandered ever since and had yet to come across any other forms of life.
She paused as she came upon an obsctuction on the road where a building had toppled over and created a mountain of rubble and concrete in its wake, blocking Winter from continuing further. The girl didn't hesitate however, instead she carried on walking until she was right in front of the rubble and then she jumped, higher than any normal human would have and with the skill and grace matched only by a cat. Winter continued her acrobatic act, scaling the wall of rubble with ease and eventually landing silently at the peak, looking over the new set of wasteland ahead of her.
Something here was different, she could feel it in the air. And it was not a feeling she liked...

GB1's peace was shattered by the sound of footsteps and talking. It was strange, because there shouldn't be any human life forms left in this ruind city. She looked around and spotted the three males whom were not too far from her and were looking straight at her. "They must be the other prototypes...The ones made after me..." She mumbled. GB1 stood up and made her way over to them smiling towards them in a friendly manor. "Morning you three." Moving closer she realized that the three there were; 9, 07, and Red Zone. "It's a nice day to have a stroll in the park, huh. To bad it's desroied."

Ether silently ran through the ravaged city, trying not to look at the occasional decaying corpse. Usually, this part of the city would be completely silent, but in the distance, she could swear she heard the buzz of conversation. She ran down streets at random, trying to locate the source of the sound, hoping that she may find some life in the ruins. When she reached on particular street, she saw some small figures in a park down the street. She looked down the scope to see who they were. She saw three men and a woman dressed in bright colours. That could only mean one thing: fellow Prototypes.
"Do not fire at them. They are friendly," her AI told her.
"No duh! I know not to shoot my own friends!" she responded a little annoyed to her AI. She dashed down the street, reaching the park in record time.
"Yahoo!~" she called out to her fellow Prototypes, "Nice to see everyone's okay!"

Before everybody gets board on the pickup truck, the soldiers introduced themselves. The large soldier went first, "I'm Captain Victor, and these are my companions" He pointed his thumb at the group behind him. "Hmph, I don't care about your names, I only care about your presences in this mission" Crimson said coldly. After that, Crimson realized that the soldiers are keeping distance from him. Hmph, They're all afraid of me, a superhuman with little machinery within me, or so called a monster by them. After a moment of introducing, the soldiers got inside the trunk of the truck. Crimson stays outside, just waiting for them. One of the soldier, a female one, Private Sena was her name, asked Crimson if he was getting in the truck. He said that he is waiting for the truck to be ready. That had make Sena and the soldiers puzzled. "I'm taking the lead, you humans don't know where the location is, only my companions and I knows of it. The truck driver gave him a thumb up, "She's all ready!" He yelled over the grumbling noise of the truck. Crimson starts to run slowly toward northeast by the highway and increases his speed until he's running of a car, maybe 40 or 50 miles per hour. I know the location because it was implanted in me by the scientists. The truck soon follows Crimson, ramaging through the debris. Shortly after 10 minutes, Crimson changed his direction to another road exitting out of the highway. He turns his head to look behind and saw that the truck was very far behind, so he slows down to let the truck to catch up. "Hmph, this is such a bother. I knew that I shouldn't agree with the headquarter's orders to has me protected, but no." Crimson shooked his head in disgust. And then, he caught a glimpse of something moving in a construction site 50 yards away from him. Instinctly, he drew out his mechanic sword from its sheath and dashes toward the site. Right when he enters the site, the truck finally show itself and stop before the entrance of the site. Crimson scan the site for any intruders, not soon after that, he heard a noise coming from the incompleted building.

Red Zone turned around and was relieved to see Black Twister but his face still had the lifeless expression, " Somebody who agrees with me." He sat down on a destroyed car and looked at Black Twister, " Anything from Headquarters." Red Zone took out his gun and started twirling it in his hand, then suddenly he had heard a very hyperactive voice. Oh god not another one of these hyperactive prototypes, Red Zone thought to himself in disgust, he looked and saw it was some crazy prototype running towards them. He rolled his cybernetic eyes and ignored her. Suddenly he heard a voice in his communicator in his ear, it told him to report to a construction sight about a mile away. He hopped off the car and signaled the others to follow him, he got onto the motorcycle he was driving and started driving off. [i] I hope I get to kill some Vandread, silence is starting to bore me," 05 thought to himself.

9 took a running start, grabbing one the the batons on his hips. He lept off the ground and cracked the baton open as a cycle started forming around him. He landed on his rear wheel, soon followed by the front wheel touching down as he speed off. The cycle was close to the ground, but offered great maneuverability for him. His body literally laid across the top, hand holds near the front wheel, and foot rests near the back wheel. Red lines here and there made decals on the sides and front, glowing brightly as he sped off after 05, wondering where he was going in such a hurry, but that question was pushed aside, focusing on the fact they were headed into something he would hope would be worth their time.

It was desolate and dark in one particular four-story building in San Francisco. The entire building was in shambles, with lights flickering on and off, the windows shattered, and the tables and chairs overturned.
Underneath the building lay an undergound basement, abandoned by its former workers. Still, the room was surprisingly quite alive; the lights were on, highlighting the white of the room (such a stark contrast to the building that was above), and a quiet buzzing could be heard in the corner. A large white pod was emanating a bright white light, and on the door was a countdown.
"3...2...1..." Read the display.
The door hinges hissed, and the door opened an inch. A few seconds passed. WHAM! The door went flying across the room as a fist emerged from the pod; a loud thud echoed as the door clanged on the floor after hitting the wall.
Stupid jammed door, thought White Flash 10 as he stepped out of his pod. Computer, location.
"Computer system currently booting. 20% remaining. Please wait one moment," came the reply within his head. White Flash sighed. He decided to pass the time by checking to make sure he had everything; finding a restroom one floor up, he saw his appearance in the mirror. He was shocked for a second at the white flame blazing on his left eye, but he made it a joke not to burn himself . Looking down, he saw his weapon belt around his waist. He gazed at his 4 daggers and 3 swords; he drew one dagger and one sword, gripping them in white fingerless gloves. "Flash and Judgment. Sounds good to me." He placed them back into their sheaths.
"Computer system booted. Scanning. Current location: Silicon Valley in San Francisco, California. Thank you, computer, he replied via thought. "You're welcome, White Flash 10." White Flash 10 left the building he was in and looked around: everything was in ruins; corpses were strewn everywhere, and various vehicles lay scattered about the roads.
Computer, please locate fellow Prototypes.
"Scanning. One moment please.
White Flash 10 drew his 4 daggers and started swinging them around; he was imagining various scenarios and he needed to re-enact them to figure out strategies. He could also use the time to practice his speed, and to blend it with his fighting style.
"Scanning complete. Fellow Prototypes are scattered throughout San Francisco. Closest Prototype is Crimson Blade 04, located 3.5 miles northeast. White Flash 10 merely sheathed his daggers and ran full speed in the direction of Crimson Blade 04.

The males of the group left rather quickly from the party, without so much as a greeting to GB1 - though she did notice Red Zone look at the other female prototype with an almost annoyed look. Either way, GB1 wasn't disgruntled by the lack of a greeting and instead rounded towards Ether Yellow, the oter female prototype. While GB1 is considered one of the more cheerful and social prototypes made, she wasn't as energetic as Ether was. Being the only two left standing there prompted Green Blaze to face her, "It's nice to see another being like myself. Though, I do hope you don't become angered if I suddenly leave. I'm quite curious as to why the others left in such a rush."
GB1 said politely, with her smile still on her face. She wouldn't be surprised if Ether said she was going to go see as well. She seemed like the type to go where ever she pleased, despite the consequenses simplly because it looked fun. With a small wave towards Ether, GB1 ran off following the tire treads in the ground. From the impression she calculated thathe wasn't but 3 minutes ahead of her going at least 75 miles per hour. She could always check the database implanted into her by the scientest, but she always like to try and behave as human as possible. Get as close to that dream that would never come true...

After waiting for a minute to hear his surroundings, Crimson continues walking toward the building. He stopped right front of it, he looked up and sighed. Crimson crouches down and jumps very high until he is over the constructed building. Like a feather, Crimson landed on the roof with lightly weight.
The building tilts a bit, "Unbalanced piece of trash" he said in disgust. Like someone that I know...in my head. As on cue, Hey?! Are you talking about me?! because it does sounded like it! A voice shouted in Crimson's head. Crimson ignored the voice, but then said, "Be quiet, you annoying disturbance..."
Aawww! Don't be like that, bro- the AI cried. Crimson shutted him down, "Sigh, if I have emotions, I would be using 'frustration'." Then he heard screeches through the building. "I was right, there is a nest in here..." Crimson moved in stealth and hidden behind a metal pillar. And he saw the most disturbing creatures, what he saw were three feet reptilian creatures with overgrown arms and claws, and their heads are the shape of an alligator.
Those are some really ugly motherf**kers right there, said the AI. What the hell? I thought I shutted you down, thought Crimson.
Well you can't, I'm linked to your brain ya fool ~! said the cheerful AI. Crimson kept a eye on the creatures, or also called Armers "Sigh, just shut up and scan the building" He ordered
Aye, Aye Captain Crunchy!
There was a humming sound after that, Scanning complete, there are 14 enemies within the building AI answered back.
"What, what was that? I'm already done here" Crimson said in his so-called cheerful mood.
Middle of their conversation, there were a big bang outside of the building. Crimson realized that he had forgot about the soldiers and left them alone with the invaders.

9 looked around as he rode the bike towards their destination. His eyes scanned everything as he revved his bike to go faster. It blurred past Red Zone as he went over a pile of debris, his engine humming loudly. But all too soon the bike had vanished from around him, and the baton had been placed at his hip again. He pulled out a second one from his other hip and cracked it. In mid air, circuits and metalics started forming around him, much like the bike had, only this one was faster, and he needed the altitude to use this one. The bike had given him speed, the jump had given him altitude. The jet finished forming around him as he cranked the leavers on both sides of him forward, causing him to accelerate. He weaved between old buildings quickly, kicking up a small cloud of dust as he did so from each surface. His eyes focused on the commotion near an abandoned building. His eyes narrowed as the AI in his head spoke. Soldiers, Human...course of action? 9 shook his head as he sped faster towards them noting they were being engaged by multiple hostiles. Course of action 9? His AI asked again. "Plow the road for them...." He said in his deep voice, and it was then his thumbs pressed the triggers on the handles, letting loose a barrage of fire on the hostile forces.

Ether barely had time to realize that the prototypes she found had bolted off down a street, including the only one who didn't have the personality of a brick wall. Ether sighed loudly in irritation.
"Geez, these people can't relax at all...Wonder where they're going," Ether muttered to herself, looking down her scope in an attempt to find where her comrades were heading.
"There is a hailing call from a ruined building due north from another Prototype. From my analysis of the call, it appears to be a call for re-enforcements. Perhaps there are hostiles at that location.," her AI spoke in it's accent. Ether hated when her stealth AI was right, but she was obliged to agree.
"Alright then, I won't let those guys beat me there!" Ether shouted before bolting in GB1's direction.
She quickly caught up to the green Prototype and ran beside her.
"HEY! Bet ya you I'll beat you there!" Ether shouted before running ahead of her. After running for a minute, she reached the building her AI had marked. Instead of running into the building, she jumped into an adjacent building, found a good sniping spot and blended into the background. She rested her rifle on the ledge of a ruined windowsill and scanned the building for any enemies. She spotted a pack of lizard-like humanoids ambushing a small group of human soldiers. She took aim at one and quickly fired a round. The bullet tore through the air and into the snout of her target, splitting it into two before punching a hole into its skull and out through the other side. With a fluid motion, she simultaneously ejected the empty cartridge, took aim at another lizardman, loaded another round and fired. She repeated three more times until all that was left were bewildered soldiers.
"Double kill! Triple kill! Multi kill! Killtakular!" Ether said to herself in the best impression of a video game announcer she could make while a beaming smile grew on her face. She then realized that another Prototype was about to kill those particular lizards.
"Oh...Sorry about the killsteal!" Ether called out to the red streak before jumping down from the building and moving to find another position.

South America / Turbo, Colombia
Everything was decimated. The Vandread had spared no expense in wiping out nearly all semblance of life that couldn't be converted to their own. Ambrose, formerly Aleric, walked past dead and decaying bodies. The water by the coast was colored dark red with the blood of those who could not be taken alive. Ambrose strode down the dock pier, where bodies of dead fishermen hung off wood. Even though he was still technically human, he felt nothing for the nameless corpses that now littered the streets. To Ambrose, that was everything. To him, it felt nostalgic, like he'd surpassed everyone in the human race and was now in a league of his own.
For the first time in all of his wretched life, Ambrose felt safe. What did he have left to prove? He was clearly superior to everyone in the human race. Even while still in the body of the mortal that he'd been born as, he felt that he'd transcended needing to be the best. He was alive, while the humans will eventually die out. He owed everything now the race that had given him this, and swore that he would still strive to reach his maximum potential . With the job that they'd been sent to do complete, Ambrose left the coast, and began a steady jog, even with the heavy turtle-shell weapon that he kept on his back weighing him down and the large amount of ammo he carried.
With the rest of the Vandread that he'd managed to gather, they left the city, neither speaking a word.

9's voice rant in Ether's ear. Don't let it happen again.... And then there was radio silence as he circled around the top of the building and dismissed the jet entirely. His eyes scanned around him, picking up the foot steps that Crimson had left without knowing. They were't real footprints, more so energy signatures left behind. He reached up behind him and pulled the disks off his back, walking into the building casually. He exhaled through the vents in his helmet slowly, almost sounding like a mechanical growl from a normal person's view point. His eyes looked around more, scanning everything he saw, picking up multiple signatures inside. Many of them seemed to hold the same signatures as the hostile's outside, and one was different. He would assume this was Crimson, or one of his fellow prototypes. His feet were silent as he made his way towards the odd signature, well, odder than the others that looked like lizards.
In the end of the hallway that Crimson was in ended in light streaming in, he dashed toward it until he can see outside. There were gunshots below him, and he saw the truck, on its sideway and smashed with a large metal pipe on top of it. Crimson also saw the soldiers trying to endure the sudden company of Armers. But some of these were different, they were giant insects, likely beetle-like. They were flying everywhere, evading the bullets that they were recieving from the soldiers.
Are you going to help them, captain?, asked AI.
"Sigh waste of time, but alright I will," Crimson unsheathes his sword, "I'm going in fast, tell me to slow down when I exceeds to Mach 2, alright?" He ordered once more. At that moment, he vanished into thin air.
Crimson materializes on the ground next to the damaged truck, and the captain noticed Crimson came out of nowhere, "Where in the hell were you, taking a nap or something?" he shouted out to Crimson while shooting the Armer Flighters.
"I'm sorry, but I was having a session with my annoying AI," Crimson said back. "And don't do anything, shooting at them couldn't do a difference" Then he saw the Armers being shoted by an unknown shooter. Crimson searched until he saw her, one of his combrades "Hm...About time they came"
Crimson slowly closes his eyes and wait for a minute and vanishes into thin air again, and the the only thing that stays in his former spot was a sonic boom.
The captain tries to follow Crimson with his human eyes, but he only saw a crimson and gold blur going everywhere the Armer Flighters were. Crimson appears again in mid-air, he checked the creatures and they all were sliced half. Crimson moves through the air down, and sheathes his sword. Wow, just a bit longer and you could have cause a rift in the air, you need to be more careful with your controlling with your agility, said AI.
"Well you suppose to be the one telling me how fast I'm going," Crimson snapped. Then a loud and disgusting sound came from behind the building, Crimson stepped back to see something bad, very bad. There was a giant monster, with no kind of symmetry with its body. Messed-up body, but still large... thought Crimson.
Holy s***, hmm...Captain I think we made the big mama very angry! AI screamed. The monster roared, the remaining soldiers covered their ears to mute the screechs, but no good.
Crimson went to battle mode, "AI, I'm going Overdrive Mode," he said, unsheathing his sword.
What?! Are you overdoing it a bit?! AI shouted

9 watched as Crimson bolted out, leaving him alone with the reptiles inside. He smirked under his helmet as he returned his attention to the beast, who had become fully aware he was there. He cracked his neck as the plasma blades of his disks activated. He waved his arms in front of him, crouching a bit as he took them all in. "Engage infrared, its too dark to fight blindly." His screen in his helmet illuminated, giving him perfect vision. "Better." And with that he pushed off, leaping into the air and spinning as his torso contorted, his hand let go of one of the disks, sending it aimed at one of the lizard's heads. The plasma sliced through, causing the thing's body to disintegrate on contact. 9 clicked the button on his palms, activating the magnetic pad in his gloves so the disks would return to him. It didn't take long before more of the lizard things surrounded him. His eyes narrowed as he spun, releasing both disks, all the while leaping around like an acrobat, kicking and punching the beats into submission. Each time the plasma of his disks touched something other than him, it was reduced to a pile of ash. After all was said and done, 9 stood in the middle of an empty room. ".....Derezzed....." Was all he said before taking off after where he saw Crimson running.

GB1 glanced at Ether and smiled at her as she quickly sped past her. Green Blaze could have sped up, and even used her telekenisis to beat Ether, but GB1 didn't want to. She wanted to take her time getting to the area everyone seemed to be so interested in going. The building was quickly coming into sight, and like Ether - though GB1 didn't know it - she too jumped ontop of the building instead of going in. GB1 wasn't much for fighting, she was more of a peaceful prototype and would rather use the more humane method of "talking it out". Or at least that's how the humans see it.
GB1 wanted to laught at that. She was more of an imitation than she thought. She looked around and saw Ether and Red a little ways away. It looked as though a fight had just finished before she got there. GB1 hopped down landing silently behind Ether. "Looks like you did beat me Ether. So, what's going on here?"

Seeing as how running would take forever, White Flash decided to "borrow" a motorcycle. It wasn't like it would be missed anyway; the former owner, with an arm missing, was strewn across a bloody fence, his face frozen forever in terror.
White Flash rode the motorcycle (which happened to be white), and sped down the road as fast as he could, his white eye flame streaking a path.
Computer, re-scan for the locations of fellow Prototypes, and that of any comrades and/or enemies.
"Scanning now. Complete in 3...2...1...Scan complete. Closest Prototypes are located approximately 1.5 miles east of your current location. Crimson Blade 04 is joined by a few soldiers, where he is leading an attack against hostiles. In the fray as well are Green Blaze 01 and Ethereal "Ether" Yellow Mark III." Thank you, computer.
White Flash revved up the engine and sped along the debris.
It wasn't long before White Flash arrived at the abandoned construction site. He saw Crimson Blade, Green Blaze, and Ether defeat the aliens with relative ease. He looked off in the distance and noticed a rather strange shadow shifting within the abandoned building. Computer, scan that building."
"Scanning now. One large alien with stealth capabilities. Devastating results if allowed near remaining ground troops."
White Flash didn't waste any time. Leaving behind the motorcycle, he ran around the perimeter with utmost stealth and precision; he reached the abandoned building within seconds. He silently entered the shadows of the building.
Computer, activate night vision. "Night vision activated," was the reply within his head as his vision turned night vision green. Scan the building once more for this alien. "Scanning now. Target located. 2nd floor, right above your current location. Closest vital organs located 30 degrees east to your right hand."
In an instant, White Flash, drawing 2 daggers with his left hand and 1 sword with his right hand, jumped towards the ceiling, and lunged his sword upward, piercing through the ceiling. The force of the blow created an opening that allowed White Flash to pass through, and he hit something once he finally emerged from below. White Flash heard a haunting unearthly bellow from his target, and he would've been flung against the wall hadn't it been for his quick reflexes that allowed him to flip over the fierce tail swipe of his reptilian target. He landed on the ground and noticed a pool of the alien's blood nearby where he was standing. Paying it no mind, he said nothing and simply initiated a frightening lightning-fast combo. He sheathed his sword, drew his other 2 daggers, and in the next instant, the reptilian alien's throat was slit, its abdomen slashed open, and all 4 limbs sliced off. The body landed on the ground with a sickening thud.
White Flash 10 emerged from the building and saw the other Prototypes; his vision had returned to its default day vision setting and he walked over to the other Prototypes; he dragged his reptilian prize by its tail with relative ease.
9 leaped out of the window closest to him. His body contorted and slammed into the ground leaving a small indent in the dust. He wiped the dirt from his visor and noticed White dragging a lizard from the building he had just left. He walked over slowly, grabbing one of the disks from his back and activated the plasma blade on it. He exhaled as everything seemed to slow down to him, like a really intense scene in an action movie where you know something bad was about to happen. He drew his arm back and slammed the plasma blade into the reptiles throat, disintegrating it's head but left it's body in tact. 9 looked to White and exhaled again, still sounding like a growl as he re-sheathed his disk silently before kicking over a rock, sitting on top of it, looking between everyone around him.

He looked over as 09 was trying to overlap him which Red Zone did not let him do so. As he was nearing his objective his AI who sounded like a cyborg woman spoke, Scanning targets up ahead. It is Prototype Crimson Blade 04 and local military personnel do not engage. . He made a stern look with his face, I know that AI, I'm not an idiot like the others. They were nearing them very quickly until Red Zone drifted the motorcycle sideways and was just inches away from hitting one of the humans. He got off the motorcycle with ease but then one of the prototypes started shouting that she was killing a bunch of reptiles and his instincts caused him to pull out his Desert Eagles from their holders and spin them in the air before catching the grip and aiming at the hostiles, which werenobody. 05 assumed that his fellow immature prototype was merely getting her self aroused which annoyed him. He rolled his cybernetic eyes in disgust of Ether's wild attitude. Red Zone sheathed his pistols and followed 04 down the hallway.

Suddenly a giant creature came in front of them from seemingly nowhere he took out his pistols and started firing at the creature but it disappeared instantly. It was very dark but 05 still heard the sounds of the beast trying to approach them he fired at the reptile which angered him but suddenly his AI picked up something, Friendly Unit Incoming Prototype White Flash 09. As those words went inside Red Zones head he saw White Flash destroy the reptile in seconds and show off the dismembered Reptile tail. He did not show 09 any gratitude or applaud but kept moving. He looked over at his fellow Prototype Crimson Blade 04, " So what are we doing in an abandoned building killing a bunch of Reptiles." But then he paused for a second and heard a screeching noise from above and he stared up, it was a very strange reptilian coming down at them screeching. It looked like a bat monkey with scales trying to jump on Red Zone. Red Zone stepped back and hit the bat monkey as it was getting closer with the hilt of his gun, as it was flying at the wall Red Zone shot a bullet into the creatures skull. He did not say anything and continued walking with Crimson Blade 04.

There was an uneasiness in the air as 9 looked around still. He was growing aggravated. The large beast had found a new target with Red and Crimson, leaving 9 to wonder what to do. He didn't like thinking much. He stood up and dusted his suit off. Grasping one of the batons on his hip he cracked it open, this time with no running leap. The motorcycle started forming as 9 swung his leg over and the bike began to form around him. After it had solidified, he leaned onto the bike, exhaling in his low growl before revving it and speeding away, pulling the front wheel up and vanishing into the distance, leaving the others to fend for themselves. A voice contacted him. Going off on your own is not always the best action 9 He growled, an actual growl as he pushed the button on his helmet, silencing the AI in his head. "Annoying....." He spoke as he sped down the streets. Where he was going he didn't know, but he really didn't care, he was growing restless for some reason. Fighting those reptile-like beasts had spurred him into a sort of killing frenzy, and he wanted more. Anything would sate it, but the city looked dead. After a while he slowed down, sitting up on his bike. His hands reached up, removing his helmet slowly. The cybernetics in his skin shown through as he stretched. He inhaled slowly, taking in a breath of fresh air as his eyes, those golden orbs that were always hidden under the helmet took in the day's light. He shook his head and returned the helmet to his head before turning back on his AI. About bloody time you talked to me 9....now where in the blazes are we? 9 shrugged a bit. The AI scoffed. As if you thought I could see what you gestured......I'll perform a scan then.. 9 nodded and stayed silent as the AI scanned everything around them.

GB1 simply shook her head again at the eagerness of a fight, displayed by her fellow prototypes. It seemed as though there were more of these alien things coming so she decided that it was time to leave this area, "I suppose I will see you later Ether. Goodbye." She have a two fingered salute, before heading down a different hallway than Red Zone. GB1 conducted a quick scan of the entire area and found out that quite a few of the prototypes were in the area. There were others as well, but they weren't prototypes. They were humans. Whether they were one of those mutated humans, she didn't know, but the fact was....Was that they were in fact human. The vital signals she recieved from them proved it. I need a scan and rough blueprint of the building please. She asked the interactive database placed in all the Prototypes, typically called an 'AI'. Scaning immediate vicinity now...please stand by...Building layout 26% complete...Nice to speack to you again by the way.
GB1 returned the pleasentries, Thank you.. She had a theory that everyone's AI had similar personalities to the prototype to whom it belonged. Of course GB1 wouldn't know that for sure. She looked to the right, and pushed off of the wall she was currently leaning on. A few seconds later her AI chimed in, Hostile life forms approaching....Current ETA....32 seconds..... GB1 faced the direction and got ready for confrontation. She reached by her right side and grabbed the two green and black chakrams hanging there. Looks like she would have to fight these things after all.

After a moment a familiar voice spoke to 9. Scan complete. Hostiles still in the area of that construction site. It would seem you left...prematurely? If I may make a suggestion? 9 nodded. "Go ahead." I feel it would be in the best interest to go back and assist, they may need all the hands they can get. 9 nodded again. "Agreed." I suggest the runner, the weapons on it are more advanced than the bike or the jet 9. Not to mention it has better handling. For the third time he nodded as he sealed the bike into its baton, sheathing it on his hip. He pulled one off his arm and cracked it. He lifted a leg and took a seated position as the runner formed around him. His foot pressed on the pedal as he cranked the steering device so the runner would turn in the direction it needed. "Might as well see some action..." And with that he punched his foot onto the gas and sped off back towards where the others had been.

White Flash 10 went around the corner of the building once he left the door. He dropped the alien corpse on the ground. Computer, scan the body and analyze its anatomy. "Scanning now. Scan complete. Reptilian features, with humanoid structure and function due to a shift in gravity." So you're saying that this creature's homeworld possesses a stronger gravitational force? "Yes. Its bone density is approximately 30% thicker than the average human, and its muscle mass outclasses humans by 40%; however, that only applies towards this particular race of 'stealth' reptilian." I see; thank you computer.
White Flash left the body where it was, and re-entered the building, returning to his night vision settings.
Computer, re-scan for allies and hostiles. "Scanning. Red Zone 05 and Crimson Blade 04 located on the 2nd floor. 2 stationary hostiles found on the 4th floor; 1 Armored Flyer and 1 heavily armored Reptilian Berserker. For the Armored Flyer, take out its wings to immobilize it, and kill it by piercing its head carapace. Kill the Reptilian Berserker by going for the throat."
Thank you again, computer.
White Flash 10 hurried up the stairs, running past Red Zone and Crimson Blade; he needed to use those assassination skills fast, and he needed to use them now on those 2 very dangerous hostiles. The one problem would be in his approach. I could come from the floor above...no, that wouldn't work; they must be guarding the stairs if they're stationary... He looked out the window on the third floor and saw a cord. That's it!
White Flash climbed the cord up to the 5th floor, where he then proceeded to swing into the 4th story window. Here goes nothing. He pushed off the side of the building with his legs and swung; he crashed through the window and landed on the ground. The two aliens were taken by surprise for a moment, looking around to see where the crash came from, and White Flash took that moment of hesitation to jump into the ceiling and hide above the foam ceiling tiles. He crawled till he was directly overhead the two aliens.
He sprung into action. Kicking the ceiling tile he was on, he drew two swords on his descent. Swinging them in two arcs, he cut off one of the Armored Flyer's wings, as well as one of the Berserker Reptilian's arms. He let go of the sword used to slice the reptilian, letting it fly across the room. In the next 3 seconds, White Flash: used his now-free hand to draw his third sword, jump onto the Flyer's back, find a niche in the head carapace, stab it with both blades, finish off the Armored Flyer with a devastating X-slash within the niche, sheath the two swords and jump off the Flyer's back, and grab his sword, which happened to still be flying through the air.
By the time he had done all that, the Berserker Reptilian had just realized what happened (which was that some person had burst through the ceiling [slow thinker, that reptilian]), and it charged at White Flash without thinking.
White Flash took the sword he just grabbed, and while in mid-air, he waited half a second for the reptilian to rush on him.
A flash of light from the swing of the sword, and the alien's throat was instantly slit.
White Flash landed on the wall, and stepped down onto the floor.
"Hmph."

When White Flash landed on the floor, a huge shadow apeared behind him, a disk of light came flying and passed by White Flash's side slaying the shadow in pieces and went back form wehre it was trown, it was actuacly Doriu's schythe that was reflecting the light from the sky, Doriu was standing on a old structure of a construction site near there, he grabed his scythe back with his right hand and put it behind his back and looked foward and asked wiht irony "So? Am I too late for the fun?" he then jumped to egt to the battle site, as he landed he slashed in half a enimie, he got up with a maniac look on his eyes and holding his scythe on his right hand, he quickly scanned the battle field to find more "targets" as he calls Vandreads and reptilians.
Just soon Crimson activates his battle mode, he heard a sound above him and looked up, all he saw was a white streak of light. The white flash was heading toward the monster to finish it off. "Hmph, It looks like we got a new member in our group," Crimson said blankly, Another one is going to suffer. After the mysterious person sliced the monster, he grabbed the monster's tail as a prize.
*Whistles* Wow boss, he had just beaten you in speed, or maybe it's just you're too slow powering up. AI said. If AI have actual eyes he would be rolling them.
"Contain yourself AI, or I will" Crimson said eyeing on the new Prototype and said to him, "You're late, but I don't want to hear your explanation because this battle isn't over just yet"
Crimson tightly holded his sword with his hands and rushes into the building. "AI, are there any survivors in the building?" He asked. Nuh, just some nasty critters, and that's all
Sheesh., today's a hasty one, Crimson thought. Inside the building was nearly no lighting at all, just some broken lamps and the light from outside. While running through the long stairs, out of nowhere, an Armer attacks Crimson, but he jumped instantly and performed a spinning slash mid-air to slice the reptilian in half, head to toe. But after that, more and more Armers were appearing out of hiding places.
"Been hiding, hmm? Well, that is not going to work on me..." Crimson sheathes his sword, and starts to crack his knuckles. You're going unarmed? That's hardcore boss.
Crimson rushed to the nearest Armer which was directly in front of him, he roundkicked the critter and sent it through to the wall behind. Next two combrades of the decreased Armer sneaked on Crimson in behind and starts\ed to swinging their claws around. Crimson just stood there, put his hands in his pockets and without looking, he jumped back and did a back flip. Crimson tapped the ceiling with his feet, looking down at the stunned reptilians and launches himself. In mid-air, Crimson did a front flip this time and split kicked the two Armers. After landing, Crimson turns his head to look for the remain Armers.
"Just three more, huh?" Crimson sighed. The threesome surrounded Crimson and jumped on the same time. Just at the moment, time began to slow down, the Armers moved in slow motion. Crimson realized this and was puzzled about it. But he has no time to think about it, he unsheathes his black sword, it sparked into crimson and golden flames. Crimson swinged his sword at the three frozen in mid-air Armers, and a wave of red-golden flames was shoted from the blade. The Armers evaporates into ashes, Crimson's sword turned back to normal and soon after that, time founded its path again and everything went back to normal.
What just happened back there?! You went all fast and assassinated them AI asked.
"I don't know, maybe my instincts kicked in?" he wondered. He knew that wasn't true. Something has changed about him, but he can't figure it out. Surely it will probably happen again soon or later.
AAHHH! Are you done daydreaming?

Blueprint download complete. Green Blaze's AI spoke. GB1 dodged an attack from one of the aliens, then spun around cutting the alien in half. Soon the rest of her enemies found themselves in pretty much the same state as the first one. It had been a while since she actually faught something, if she had been human she would have been dead in a heart beat. She supposed there were some up sides of being a machines, but there were so few of them that she could count on one hand.
Thank you. I need to you locate the other prototypes. Let me know their location from me, and also keep a look out for more hostiles coming my way.Green Blaze replied as she continued to run down the hall way. Understood....Becareful. In my initial scan I found numerous hostiles in the area. They are being quickly eradicated by you and the other prototypes..but still, becareful. GB1 nodded to herself. I'm not going down by something this trivial.
GB1 came to a fork in the building and took the right, quickly cutting down anything that came within her range. These things weren't too smart. While the exoskin was fairly tough, it was hardly a trouble for GB1's poison laced chakrams. Just the tinest scratch for the poison to slip through was enough for death.

Ambrose and the small group traveled slowly. They ran when they were allowed throughout the day. Several of them still lacked the full power that their brainwashed states allowed them to utilize. Ambrose could've ran the entire rest of the day, but stopped when the rest agreed to continue on no longer.
The set up base in a small ruined community a few miles outside of Turbo, where the dead bodies stretched for miles across the horizon. The other Vandread were silent throughout the entire night, saying nothing and not speaking at all. The group were true elites among the Vandread, everyone's entire focus was complete obedience and following Ambrose's orders to their last breath. Ambrose smiled with vicious-ness when he realized just how far ahead he'd truly ascended. The men following him were elite Vandread, but none had even a speckle of their original personality. Ambrose retained most of his free-will and personality, and forsook all that kept him among the weak.
Time passed quickly and uneventfully, and the Vandread continued on.

05 looked at his partners who were purposely showing off their abilities in combat. Red did not really care and found it a little childish but inside he some what wanted to also show his colleages his handy work with guns. They continued through the very dark and desolated building in complete silence, and silence tenses Red Zone up as much as it calms him down. He heard gentle pounding on the floor above him, then his AI picked something up very quickly, Red Zone there are 3 Reptilian Armors above head. As his AI said so the two armored creatures dropped down and grabbed both Crimson Blade and White Flash from behind. Red Zone looked back quickly and his cybernetic eyes froze for a millisecond and locked in on the two reptilian. 05 quickly rushed to the others aid and shot at the reptilians neck, but as his comrades were in relief he was still on his toes. Suddenly a Reptilian dropped from above onto Red Zone but 05 shifted back quickly as the reptilian attacked. As the reptile was about to land he pressed his two guns into the Reptilians back and shot two bullets which made the reptile fly onto Crimson's Blade sword. Red turned around and continued walking in silence. Well done Red, you've taken out in 5 seconds not your best time but still a very great feature. Red Zone did not respond to his AI, instead he placed his right hand on Crimson Blade's shoulder," Stand still." AIaccess her intell on this said mission if you would. Red Zone thought to himself but was actually speaking to the robot inside of him. Very well 05. Linking with Prototype Crimson Blade 04... Accessing database..... Acquiring intell on today's date.... Intel successfully received. Entering intell in cybernetic function 0479.
"Dang it."
That's all White Flash said aloud as he felt a whisp of wind whizz past him, indicating that Doriu's scythe flew past; White Flash could've sworn he had scanned for more enemies previously.
"Dang it."
He repeated the same thing as he and Crimson Blade were picked up by Reptilians. In a split-second, he had drawn two swords and sliced the reptilians' hands off; all happening before Red Zone "came to the rescue" with multiple gun shots.
"Hmph." Computer, scan this entire building for hostiles. I want the location of every hostile in this building. "Scanning. 3 floors remaining in this building; each floor contains hostiles. The floor above is full of Armored Flyers. Above that, 4 Reptilian Berserkers guard the stairs that lead up to the next floor. The top floor is a nest of Reptilians. There is a faint reading from the roof of the building, but something is jamming the signal up there. I advise extreme caution." Thank you, computer. He sheathed his swords and ran to the stairs.
White Flash, upon opening the door to the next floor, saw an immensely large number of Armored Flyers. Alien Bug Extermination 101 right here; time for the hands-on. He drew his 3 swords simultaneously and swung in multiple, blinding arcs of light; from outside, the view of White Flash swinging his swords looked like unstoppable lightning merely passing through.
At the end of his swinging, White Flash sheathed his 3 swords and looked over his shoulder; one still remained. He watched as it approached carefully; White Flash just stood still as he watched the alien move. It leapt at him.
It fell to the floor in 3 pieces; if anyone had watched White Flash during that moment, they could've sworn they saw lightning coming from his palm, striking the Armored Flyer full-force.
White Flash found a tablecloth, and using it he wiped off the alien blood that was on his 7 blades. He then proceeded to the next floor.

Ether didn't want to be outdone, so she jumped onto the perimeter wall of the building. Like a cat, she nimbly ran on top of the thin concrete wall, looking for targets. The others had gone inside and were tearing up the reptilemen, leaving only a few pickings left for her. A flyer swooped from the clouds onto the building. Ether took aim, taking care to lead her shot, and fired. The bullet shattered its jaw, causing it to recoil in pain and lose control of its flight, crashing into the side of the building headfirst, crushing its skull on the wall.
[i]Excellent shot. Five tangos approaching at 5 o'clock, engaging full stealth" her AI told her simply. Ether turned and saw a pack heading to the building to aid their embattled comrades. She dispatched them with little more than a thought.
"Running riot!" Ether cheered in her video game announcer voice before jumping into a window of the building.

Even from the distance GB1 had already traveled she was still able to hear the shouts of Ether. Sounds as though someone is enjoying themselves. Her AI said as GB1 smiled in slight amusement while taking out more hostiles.
Green Blaze looked around noticing that her enemies were all laying on the ground. She relaxed for a bit before continuing down the hallway though this time it was a brisk walk, rather than a run. According to her AI, there were 3 prototypes in the area she was heading towards, along with more of those alien reptiles things. GB1 wasn't exactly in a right hurry for any more fighting. Crimson Blade 04, Red Zone 05, and White Flash 10 are straight ahead. Currently they are engaged in battle. The information wasn't exactly useful, but at least she knew that this level would soon be cleared. "We're heading to the next floor for more eradication." GB1 announced to her AI a loud, which she does sometimes forgetting that her AI wasn't exactly a real person.
Understood, analyzing life forms in upper floors.....Analysis completed...It seems as White Flash 10 has also moved to the upper floors. AI responded to GB1. "Are there any other life forms that I should not attack? What about those humans that are here.?"
Negative....All but White Flash are hostiles on the upper floor.

As White Flash got to the next floor, he grew appreciative at how much more sophisticated the layout was; the floor's intricate layout of columns, corners, and rooms gave him more freedom in finding ways to assassinate the 4 Reptilian Berserkers. He turned the corner and saw 2 shadows shifting. He couldn't locate the other 2 Berserkers, so he decided to scan. Computer, scan for the exact locations of the hostiles on this floor, and do it fast. "Scanning. 2 hostiles located 20 feet northeast, 1 hostile located 10 feet west, and 1 hostile located 15 feet east and coming in fast." White Flash spun to the east and saw a Berserker charging right at him.
"I don't think so," he said plainly. The Berserker was almost on top of him; White Flash simply crouched, drew his sword, and swung upwards with such inhuman force that he ended up slicing his target in two. "Sucks to be you," he said to the slain enemy as the two halves fell to the floor. He turned to the west, finding another Berserker staring him down. Huh. I'm lucky today, aren't I? He merely lunged his sword at the throat; a disturbing "Pssssss" erupted from the punctured windpipe of the Reptilian as it fell to the floor, gasping for breath. He drove his sword into the alien's chest, effectively finishing it off. Now for the other two, he thought to himself as he sheathed his sword and drew 2 daggers, holding them in a reverse grip.
He ran to the northeast, charging head-on into a collision course with the 2 remaining Berserkers, which were facing away. He jumped onto the shoulders of the closest one and slashed its throat open, and jumping down, drove the dagger into the abdomen of the other Berserker and slashed upwards. He looked back at his assassination work. He shrugged, saying, "I could've done better." He sheathed his weapons once more and continued on.

Winter hopped down from her vantage spot, landing on the cracked road beneath her with all the grace and silence of a cat, and looked about her. The crevices and alleyways created by a mix of still standing walls and fallen rubble created an intricate maze of shadows and hiding spots, more than enough to hide at least a dozen people...Among other things. She paced along the road slowly, her eyes moving about slowly to scan her surroundings. No enemies presented themselves but she could almost feel them in the air, as if their hunger itself was enough to give away their presence.

She paused for a moment, listening to the silence around her before a sudden chill fell over the area about her and a set of icey spike practically materialized behind her, shooting up to impale the mutated lizard-man attempting to sneak up on her. Winter looked about to stare at the corpse, noting it seems to be a runt of a mutant compared to the larger ones she had been informed about. Her best guess was there was a nest nearby and this one was merely a straggler. Ignoring the corpse she turned back around and continued down the road. She needed to find the other prototypes and, if her guess was correct, if she found the nest the mutant behind her had come from she would find the rest, no doubt undertaking a form of 'advanced pest control' on the premises.

Chapter 2: Unknown Personalities
While being slightly dazed off, multiple gunshots were heard behind Crimson. Several Berserkers got creamed by the shots, and Red Zone came out of nowhere. Soon after the battle scene was over, Crimson got connected by Red Zone, this startled Crimson from his semiconsciousness and got him back to his senses. "Hmph thank you for waking me up, but I didn't ask for your generousity. And will you excuse me, I have to get to the rooftop of this building." Crimson exited the room through the only door available to the top stairs.
As soon he run through the stairs, he thought to his AI, Where are the other Prototypes? Nothing happened, but then a buzzing sound started for a minute, and then, Some arere all fighting the hostiles in the building boss, and the rest of them are outside, said AI.
"I see, and why are you so calm?" Crimson questioned while dashing through the stairs avoiding any pursuit Armors. But before AI can give an answer, a Berserker got in the way, so Crimson got no choice but to fight them off. He unsheathes his sword and slice the hostile half and then sheathed his sword back so fast that it looked like that Crimson didn't even unsheathed his sword in the first place. I should move faster and hurry it up, he continued running.
Hmm...now before I get interrupted again, I can tell you why I'm unease right now. When you asked me to scan the area, I scanned something very unusual in this building. And you can guess where it is...Crimson's AI explained.
"The rooftop? So that explained the amount of Armersament in here," Crimson said with a blank expression. "And what is this unusual thing you found? Is it a lowly queen Armor?" The AI said nothing at the moment. As soon Crimson went to an new floor, he checked for the floor sign, after a minute or so, he found it near outside of the storage room. "This is the 14th floor, just two floors, and when did the place got so quiet?" Crimson looked around the floor and found no Armors Berserkers, no Flighters, or anything alien.
Hm, that's strange, he thought. This place should be crawling with the reptilian hostiles, but none can be seen. Crimson finally said he's going to continue to climb through the stairs to the rooftop.
When he reached the last floor, an oddly aura filled the entire place. Crimson sensed this aura as extremely dangerous, so as precaution Crimson activated his strongest Mode, his Insane Mode. His left eye ignites a lightning bolt-shaped flame with the colors of crimson and gold dancing around. Crimson also unsheathes his sword and activated his sword's Insane Mode as well.
Do you think this is enough to endure what is on the rooftop? AI asked him. Crimson didn't hear him, the only thing in his mind was to follow the dangerous aura. Because of Crimson's flame eye and sword, the whole floor was alight. "I can sense it. It's nearby," He said in a strange, quiet voice. Just by the next left turn and everything will soon happen...
Crimson walked slowly to his left until he reached onto a door. "It's here, isn't it?" Crimson asked. AI waited two seconds before answering that question, Yeah I'm sure...Definitely.
Crimson thought of something, but didn't say it. All he did was brought his sword up and sliced the door into pieces. And next, he entered the rooftop the roof was covered by curtains (so less windy), and something or someone else was here by Crimson's AI. And then right by the farthest corner of the rooftop, were a table, a chair, and a person sitting on the chair.
Crimson was shocked by the person, "What in the hell...?! Who are you?!"

Ambrose trekked along with the group of Vandread he'd brought along. They'd covered a good amount of ground over the past few hours, running at a faster pace than they'd had previously. They were probably somewhere close to exiting South America, but right now their only goal was to cause as much destruction on this side of the hemisphere to draw out whoever might be left. If there are survivors, they could increase their numbers. Ambrose wearily looked in all directions as they continued their long journey.
It wasn't long however, before they came across another town. This one had a few high voltage fences surrounding it, but Ambrose had a fairly good idea how to get around it. There was one Vandread among the group that happened to have some expertise with electric wiring in his past life, Ambrose knew because he was the one who'd kidnapped the man. Even though Vandread lose almost all sense of self after being brainwashed, they can retain some of the abilities that they had in their former lives. It wasn't useful if he just had a group that wasn't able to do anything except fight. It was much more beneficial to have them retain some of their more useful skills.
Inside the zone, Ambrose saw a large sign on the opposite side of the plateau that read, "WELCOME TO CONTAINMENT SECTOR 6AB." With SOUTH AMERICA written beneath it. It was in Spanish, but Ambrose was modestly fluent in such human languages. Ambrose smiled while the rest of the Vandread looked on with blank faces. "Bingo." Ambrose smiled with malicious glee, before the massacre began.

"Ugh, these things are like cacaroaches. They're friggen everywhere." GB1 complained after having gotten right of more armord aliens. There were dead bodies and blood everywhere, but even so none of the blood managed to touch GB1's clothing. Though she did smell of rotting flesh now. Which was gross enough in itself. Considering what had happened so far while she was in the building, GB1 found it unnerving that it was so eerily quiet. She felt more on edge because of the sudden quiet that blanketed over the building. Green it looks like all enemy life forms have been dispatched already by fellow prototypes. AI informed GB1, which shocked the female prototype. They must be working fast, becasuse only moments ago there were a lot of these weird alien things. Also my scanners show that Crimson Blade 04 is on the roof with another life form. Information about the second person is currently unknown.
"Well....We're already heading up so I guess we'll just keep going and check the floors just incase some managed to get by the scan." Her AI then responded, Understood. You are currently 4 floors away from the roof.
With that GB1 headed to the neares staircase and ran up the stairs so fast it hardly seemed as though she was even touching the ground.

White Flash sheathed his swords as he looked back; the floor littered with Reptilian corpses as he walked across the current floor to get to the stairs. Computer, scan for allies and hostiles. "Scanning complete. Crimson Blade 04 currently on roof. Faint trace detected. Something is preventing the scan from reading it entirely, and so it can be inferred that Crimson Blade 04 is about to confront this 'hostile'. Proceed with caution." Thank you computer, I will.
White Flash then wiped his blades once more, whereupon he then proceeded on. He noted the smashed door.

Upon reaching his destination, White Flash noticed no breeze flowing. He saw Crimson Blade staring down someone in the corner, someone who shouldn't be there. He watched on as he heard Crimson Blade blurt something out to the mysterious person; White Flash just stood still and merely observed, as if he was a ghost.
He made sure to keep his hands by at least 2 of the weapons on his waist the entire time.

Left side of Crimson Blade 04, just 10 yards away, was a person that shouldn't even be in existence. He was sitting on a fancy chair that looked like a silver couch, with a silver table. He was drinking something from a silver, maybe tea or so. When Crimson finally got a clear image of him, he blurted at him, "What in the hell?! Who are you?!"
The mysterious person stopped drinking tea, laid down his cup, and stared at Crimson. His glare was intimiting, but his appearance was even more disgusting. He looked exactly like Crimson, but different. His hair is white with light blue outlines instead black hair with red outlines like Crimson's. The jacket of the imposter is light blue and white hood.
"What are you looking at, peasant?" spook the imposter in bossy tone. He pulled his chair, stood up and stared at Crimson. "Still at shock?", the imposter said.
Crimson was speechless. All he can do was just stare at him like a hawk stalking a prey. Then finally got his wits back, Crimson stood back on his battle stance, ready to strike, "I repeat again...who in the hell are you, imposter?" He yelled at the named character.
The imposter put a disgusted face, "Sigh such bad manners, alright I'll say something," he began. "My codename is Metal Noir 0A, and I was created by the same scientists that created you and your puny friends." Noir started walking to the stairs near the side of the building. Crimson lost his footing, and was panting deeply.
An moment of a minute passed, but it felt like a hour instead. Next, Metal Noir was grinning. And then he was sticking out his tongue and has crazy eyes on him, "Just kidding you fool!" he said. 'Like I was created by mere humans, I was created by the 17 Apostles, the supreme beings" Noir started to chuckle and then laughed evilly. "I fooled you!"
Crimson's mind started to cloud, he can hear his AI's voice in his head, but he couldn't understand it. Crimson checked himself; he was sweating a lot, and his breaths were deep.
Then unexpected, Noir turned his head around if like he heard a voice. He frowned, and looked at the weakened state of Crimson, "It's not the time to fight you, not yet" he walked to the corner. Slightly back to his senses, Crimson stepped up and said to Noir, "Wait!" but Noir didn't heard him and vanished in thin air...without any traces behind...

The massacre was swift and bloody. All men being held were immediately killed or brainwashed. Ambrose preferred to kill them, but there were quite a few that held too much potential for Ambrose to resist. He could see it in their eyes when they looked at him, amidst the mixing of pain that showed brightly. Ambrose hooked his turtle-shell Shield weapon and walked through the area.
It was slick with blood and rotting corpses. Some of the Vandread also had bullet holes all over them, and were lying face-down on the ground. Still, with the numbers that Ambrose had just added, it was enough to replace the lost ones and even cause the number to grow a little.
Ambrose decided to sit on top of a pile of corpses. To Ambrose, it was the king's thrown, a bloody seat atop the men and women that had done their best to resist, but ended up in vain. Ambrose smiled, malevolence shining through his twisted and blood-stained body.
Whoever is left will surely send somebody after them, and he will be waiting.

Darkness... such pitch black darkness... Suddenly a huge flash of light extinguished all that. 02 saw a fast blur of greenish-black and turned to see three hulking beasts that looked like a cross between a lizard and a crocodile. As he, was about to lunge towards them, the black returned. But, this time Red Ravager was awake, his senses were slowly returned. It was still black around him, so he wondered exactly where he was... He felt around the cold, cylinder-like shape of the metal container. He finally found the handle to reach the outside of this small, prison-like thing. 02 realized he was in a laboratory sort of thing and started looking around to find his equipment such as his Gun-Blade, Gantlet, and his signature jacket. Ravager found his stuff in one of the cabinets, that somehow managed to be unscathed, unlike some of the other parts of the lab. "Ah here they are, I was wondering why I didn't have them on."
"Reboot at 40%, initializing combat sequences, acquiring location, scanning area for fellow versions..."
"Good to know that that's working" 02 commented.

Green Blaze was sitting against one of the walls, dead bodys littered the floor all around her, however this fact didn't bother the prototype at all. In fact she seemed pretyt calm despite the amount of carnage around her. "I wanna go back to the park...This is what I get for letting my curiosity get the best of me." She mused to herself.
It seems as though the other prototypes' actions have calmed as well. There are also little to no hostiles left in the vicinity. Her AI spoke.
Guess the others had just as much success as she did in her fights. GB1 considered continuing up to the roof, which she would eventually do, but decided to take a little break before. Being the first prototype, she wasn't as perfected as the rest so at times she would over work herself. It had never been so bad where she would completely shut down on herself - at least not since that one time anyway. GB1 was always consious of her energy output, so that it wouldn't happen.

Only a small bit of shock went through White Flash as he witnessed Crimson Blade clash with Metal Noir 0A. The confrontation was merely but a moment; by the time he had a blade drawn, Metal Noir was gone.

"Hmph. Let's get going, Crimson Blade, we don't have any more business here."
White Flash went down the stairs, a floor at a time. Each floor reeked of blood and decaying flesh. Computer, temporarily deactivate olfactory receptors; the smell in this building is utterly repulsive. "Olfactory receptors deactivated. Reactivation will occur once air content is back to acceptable levels."
On his way out of the building, he came across Green Blaze 01 resting among a pile of dead bodies. "Our job here is done, let's go."
White Flash continued on his way; he kept a sword drawn just in case an undetectable alien was somewhere still in the building.
9 came to a screeching halt in his runner. Seemed the fight was over before he was able to get back. He shrugged a bit, seeing as he had had his fun. He dismissed the runner and walked quietly behind 10 and 04, looking to the one sitting on the pile of bodies. His eyes blinked under his helmet at her, as he recognized her instantly. "The one from the park right?" He asked, in his rather, well to some would see it as intimidating tone. Once he looked up to where 10 and 4 were going, keeping sure they hadn't gotten too far out of eye range, his attention returned to the girl on the pile, waiting for her to speak.

GB1 was aout to stand to continue her way upstairs but heard footsteps coming her way. Her AI informed her of White Flash's approach so she waited for him to pass. He told her that the mission - whatever that was - was oer. So there was no reason to continu to the roof. "Ah, thank you. Saves me from using any more energy." She smiled towards White Flash as he continued walking. As she was standing up another prototype joined her. She recognized him as Black Twister, the 9th protoype made.
GB1 smiled at him, "Yes I was the one at the park. You see I enjoy parks. Makes me feel more human. I suppose we should evacuate the building since whatever was going on is over. No need for us to be here right." GB1 offered another smile and waited for him. She enjoyed cnversing with the other prototypes, though sne most of th kept to themselves she rarely got the chance.

He nodded slowly to show he understood. "Seems I did not make it back in time..." He shrugged as he exhaled through the vents in his helmet, looking up at the building, then back to GB1. If he could have shown her a smile he might have, but then again there wasn't much to smile about these days, what with the world being taken over by these Vandread and everything like that. He cracked his neck slowly as he looked to the direction that everyone was going in. "Seems we need to head out...." He nodded to himself as he started off, looking back to see if GB1 was following.

After a few stretches to get the kinks frm her back, GB1 placed her chakrums is the holsters on her right side and quickly fcell in step with Black Twister. She had to admit it was much nicr walking through this place with some company, besides yourself anyway.
"I suppose its bck to the original assignment. Protect the site of the original's resting place." She mused folding her hands behind her head. She didn't like doing that stupid mission. GB1 has some resentment for th original. She hated that she was created simply for that purpose. GB1 wanted a better purpose in her life. She sighed. Its not like she had a choice. "So how have you been?"

He looked to her from under his helmet. "Surviving." He looked forward as they walked, rather interesting to have company while traveling. "Seem's it is what we are supposed to do....survive." He chuckled a bit. It was not a very assuring laugh, more so forced than genuine. He stretched a bit as his back cracked, followed by his shoulders, making the disks on his back rattle a bit, as did the three batons on his person. He dropped his arms as he looked up to the sky, trying to remember life before this destruction. He paused for a second, looking around slowly, a small sound, almost a growl rumbled his throat as he scanned the area, looking at everything as if sensing something there.
