An attempt at a ritual card.
Please, dont be afraid to comment/help.

[center]This card is used to Ritual Summon "Vulsung, Guardian of Socthltheim". You must Tribute monsters from the field whose total Levels equal 8 or more. During your opponent's next turn: they may not conduct their Battle Phase.[/center]

[center]This card cannot be Summoned except by "Vulsung's Legacy". When this card is Special Summoned: You may destroy all Spell and Trap cards your opponent controls, their effects cannot be activated. If this card would be destroyed by battle, you can destroy one of your Face-up Spell Cards instead.[/center]

No it isn't

Also, the new rule is being enforced now (Unless I'm wrong) so your post is illegal.

It's perfectly fine as it is, save for just one point - change that guard eff to any S/T you control, not just face-ups. As I've mentioned hundreds of times here, the only good Rituals now are Demise, Herald, and Gishki. Demise and Gishki are OTKs, and Herald is a fagdeck. Why are there no real good Ritual decks?

Because they easily lose your own advantage. They require either speed or uber broken effs to win competitively. In this card's case it't not that UBER broken, but it's still awesome in how it kills your opp's advantage in a single shot. Nice. Might want better pics, though.

I'm confused why you destroyed all your opponent's spells/traps, and yet they can't activate them

How are they supposed to activate them anyway if destroyed?

Now, as for the other effect for losing a field spell, well that's a little on the rarer side.

For me you can use better protection than giving up the field spell

What about a chain? Like threatening roar?
