Alright, so here's the story. As some of you know, I attend a college and live in the on-campus apartments. I just recently got back from Thanksgiving with my parents, and this is where the story begins.

Basically, I get back and find a full trashbag right outside the apartment entrance on the concrete. I would've probably gotten a little fussy about it, but as me and my roommates have agreed to take out the trash whenever we see it's full, and I haven't really done that much, I assumed it was their way of saying "Kevin, you need to start taking out the trash now." So me wanting to be a decent roommate did the logical thing and took it out to the dumpster.

This morning, I wake up and walk outside to find not 1, but 2 full trashbags in the same place. Now I'm not a happy camper. I go and talk with my roommates, who then say they have no clue who's trashbags they are. On closer inspection, I find that they have orange straps where ours have red, and they contain trash from Whataburger, which I can safely say none of us go to (or at least order out there).

Needless to say, I mad. I have now reported to the office and my PA that somebody is doing this, and have left a sign saying I have done so. I'm not going to stand for sh*t like this and I hope they figure that out.

So, discuss times like this where people will be rude and ignore basic politeness of not leaving their trash in your space.

DAT TRASH!
They are probably [s]jews[/s] people taking advantage of your kindness...

I only did it 1 time, so I'm pretty sure it was more sheer laziness and lack of morals. Either way, if it doesn't stop, police are going to get involved. And not the good kind.

Now, I can see why you're a bit fussy about it, but you can't be THAT mad. I mean, come on. "Oh noez, some ass left not one, but TWO trashbags near my house! THE WORST OF CRIMES"

I'm not trying to say "Just don't give a crap". You should solve the problem and deal with it. But it's not worth raeging over.

OT: In Games with vehicles. You know, the dicks that leave you behind when you clearly wanted to get inside the vehicle. And the ones that blow you to smithereens just for taking the vehicle they wanted. Same goes with weapons.

I rage on rl issues, you tell me I'm overreacting, and then you go rage about games. Yup.

Seriously, this should not have happened in the first place. I am going to take care of this problem, and I was not the one who recommended police. How would you feel if you found trash on your doorstep?

EDIT: Let me also say that if the office finds trash on my doorstep, I will most likely get fined. I don't want that to happen.

At what point was I raeging? I was just pointing it out.

I would be liek "Da fauk?". Then I'd throw it away. If it kept happening, I'd camp out or set a trap.

You know, have some fun with it. Once you find where he lives, take one of the bags there, set it on his doorstep, and set it on fire. Knock so it doesn't burn down the neighborhood.

...bad idea, but you get the point.

I feel you brah D:, it's not easy to live in campus appartments (though it was my choice), especially when you live with too many/too irresponsible people.:/

Our common kitchen smells like hell because one of my roommates never cleans up (and if it happens, one week later or something like that) and...quite a few other things.
Also, a plan about whose turn it is to clean or to buy toilet paper/soap/basic things (so something you usually do when you share rooms) isn't possible either.xD

So it sounds familiar...xD

Bah I'm not getting mad about things like this anymore, people make mistakes. Unless it happens too often, then I'd alert someone.
Don't you have a house keeper/concierge you could talk to?

EDIT: Or if you find out who's doing it, leave a double portion of trash on their doorstep?=DDD

Now, getting fined is something to get pretty pissed about.

You could maybe set up a security cam. Not only would it help, but it'd be frikkin awesome.

...But now that I think about it, that might defeat the purpose, as it might cost more than a fine...

Anyway, either talk to your landlord about it big time or channel your inner Home Alone kid. Your choice.

Being rude has advantages, though. The other day, I was too lazy to take my trashbag all the way out to the dumpster, so I ditched it in front of some idiot's doorway. They actually went and did the work of throwing it out for me, so the next day I put two trashbags there so that they could continue doing my work for me. Now my life is easier and some sucker has taken up my burdens. Sounds like a fine deal for me.

I deal with it on a regular basis. Customers come in to my store and just assume they can speak to us how they want. Unfortunately I don't have a very long fuse. Fortunately, my manager knows this and makes me take breaks if she see's me getting into a "heated discussion" with a customer.

Outside of work, I'd just whoop someone's ass.
