Gemini Week Day 6: The Gemini cards of Stardust Overdrive

Recommended Posts

[spoiler='SOVR-029: Tuned Magician. So this card is a good card in itself. 1800 it isn't the best ATK out there (considering Level 4 1900 ATK Geminis are now commonplace) but still usable. And then it becomes a Tuner. Supervise it and Synchro away into a Level 8. And then grab your free 2800 ATK Phoenix Gearfried. It has its uses, though not a lot of Gemini players use it.']

(EVEN IF ITS SUMMON IS NEGATED SINCE THAT EFFECT ACTIVATES IN THE GRAVEYARD!!) if it dies, no negative drawbacks across the board despite its Synchro conditions. If we thought Phoenix Gearfried was amazing, then observing this was orgasm-worthy for Gemini fans. A must have in any Gemini-related Deck that has access to Synchros. That being mostly all of them thanks to Tuned Magician.']

[spoiler='SOVR-055: Gemini Spark. Where do I begin? Well, if Supervise made Geminis broken to an extent, then this card made Geminis (at the time) broken outright. Not only could you use it immediately during any point of your turn, but you could set it face-down and wait for your opponent to waste a Storm or an MST. It's such a HUGE risk though. If it gets negated, it's a -2 for you, but if left unchecked, it gives you a free card and blows up any card that might give you problems. To this day, the Dual Spark/Neos Alius/HERO Blast combo is a very devastating +1 combo and is the basic destruction engine of HERO decks in the meta now. It's amazing, but do mind the drawbacks when you use this.']
