Tentacruel
Okay, so we've all heard the "Merry Christmas" vs "Happy Holidays" debate, but let's forget about that for now and talk about a different topic. Religious symbolism. Now, I understand that a lot of conservatives DO enjoy shoving their life style down people's throats, but a lot of people do tend to b**** about every manger scene they see in front of someone's house, and it kind of pisses me off. I mean, if you don't agree with something, that's your problem. Could you imagine if everyone went around complaining about every example of variance in opinion? IMHO, if your a member of x religion, you can put up something around your house, regardless of what religion that may be. (Lookin' at you Fox News) Discuss. Legend Zero
Forget what I was watching, but it made a great point. "What is wrong with Christmas Tree? If someone in Congress decided to put up a Menorah would they call it a Candle & Holder?" It is stupidity at its finest to call something another name just because of its origins. My name is Jacob, it is directly linked to the Bible, should people call me something different because they don't agree with the Religion? Just Crouton
The Democrat party wants to destroy Christmas by making us real Americans acknowledge holidays no one celebrates. Then, they'll push Christmas out of stores, and pass laws forcing stores to have special sales for gay weddings and unwed teenage abortions. CrabHelmet
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you have all overlooked something of the utmost importance. You have been duped by the liberal media into believing that the war on Christmas is the real issue, but this is nothing more than a cover for their far more sinister agenda. Tell me: whatever happened to All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day? If you've got a good Catholic minister, you should be celebrating them in church, but what happened to them in the public's consciousness? You never see signs or TV specials or anything of that sort commemorating these holidays like you do Christmas; they just pass without note beyond the walls of the houses of faith. And do you know why that is? The liberals already went to war with these festivals... and won. They killed them and built Halloween beside its grave, a holiday infused with blasphemous Pagan rights treated secularly and containing such vile acts as dressing as demons and pretending to practice witchcraft, which are obviously designed to help mask the real monsters of the world and help indoctrinate our unsuspecting children into their ranks. And then there's the Day of the Dead, another blasphemous abomination designed to accommodate the illegal immigrants that are gradually trying to usurp our beloved nation. And how about the feast of the Ascension? Ascension Day is a most holy day, celebrating Our Lord Jesus Christ Ascending bodily into Heaven to reign alongside His Father until His Second Coming. Again, it's important in church, but where is it in the public eye? It's not focused on like Christmas and Easter; instead, it has merely been swept under the rug. Why? Because the liberal elites don't want you honoring Our Savior as He intended. I can go on and on. Saint George's Day. Baptism of the Lord. Feast of the Cross. I'm practically naming Christian holidays at random now because no matter what I name, the liberals have already had them assassinated. Saint Andrew's Day was a week ago; how many of you noticed? Visitation. Confession of Peter. The list goes on and on and on. It wasn't always like this. But one by one, the liberals have been quietly eliminating all of our holy days. And they've been able to do it because they manage to get you all riled up about what they want you to believe is their "war on Christmas" - so that you don't notice their war on Pentecost. They're poisoning our faith with a glorified game of three-card monte; while you look left, they move right and swipe another festival. They know Christmas is too strong for them to touch - but they also know that if you're doing nothing but defending Christmas, you're not focusing enough on defending everything else - which transforms the moveable feast into a removeable feast. So don't just shut your eyes and act like Christmas trees and wishes of merry Christmas are the real battlefront here. That's just what our godless foes want you to think. They want you to focus on protecting your right to hang your stockings over the fireplace, waiting for them to be filled with presents, and not focus on upholding the Feast of the Transfiguration. There is more to our faith than those present-filled stockings. Don't fall into the trap of focusing all your God-given energies on defending those oversized socks hung over the fireplace, because that's exactly what our enemies want you to do. Because in the end, the sock ruse was a........... DISTACTION. The Amazing Avian
christmas is for pagans and you will go to hell for celebrating it. Jesus was born in africa, and there is no snow in australia.
Middle East=/=Africa. As for snow in Australia, not sure, but I'd imagine during northern summers, they would get a bit chilly.

Tentacruel
Realistically speaking, some people are trying to attack Christmas because they're ass-hurt. It doesn't help that a lot of Christians want Religious freedom to be exclusive to them. I just personally think that while Christmas shouldn't be pushed on anyone, I shouldn't have to celebrate all the holidays if I want to celebrate one of them.
