Not really as I didn't make a point of fact, I stated an opinion so there was nothing to technically refute. To put it simply I stated my opinion, he stated his, I said that he was mistaken because x and I tried to wind him up by asking why he was getting worked up. That's when you intervened and cocked things up royally. ^_^ ~

There's been quite a few members off the top of my head who have acted this way and decided to post an apology thread in General that is promptly locked and the moderators proceed to explain that these kinds of threads are against the rules for "attention whoring" and that it's the internet and you should move on with your life instead of trying to appeal to a bunch of people.
