Cin
Well it takes me about 10-15 minutes to get up to the pint they want. It's the getting to that part that is the worst, it's usually busy (which is a good thing), but it can prove off putting possibly to some new donors. CinnamonStar
Meh, I'd love to donate blood, if I wasn't so ridicously anemic.=/ Because of that and my triglycerides level, the docs advised against it. But once I get that into check for a while, I'll go donate. It isn't much worse than a blood analysis, right? Riiight?=D

ragnarok1945
either way it's been a few years since I donated blood like that, so I don't know if the process has changed or not here
Cin
Usually it's fairly easy to get a good vein, I've had minor issues because they sometimes find it difficult to find a vein they like the feel of. Mine tend to show less when it's my time to go, I've had to donate from both arms. I can go back the end of Jan/start of Feb. Due to the 4 month period of not being able to go after a piercing. (Had my last one end of Sept).
