Guest Izaya Orihara
Uploaded with ImageShack.us Anybody read it? I am ordering it when I get home.
Travie
No, I won't be reading it. To be frank being an atheist is fine and so is being a Christian or of another religion. This book will influence people given it's author and will practically tell them to bash those who are religious. ¬¬

Guest PikaPerson01
Super cool that you wanna be an atheist or whatever, but don't attack a religion. Likewise, religious folks shouldn't push their views down atheists throats. Live and let live, or whatever.

The main idea of Atheism is to be against religion, often because of it being forced down your throat. To push your atheism down the throat of Christians and the like is just massively hypocritical. Lunar Origins
I believe people should just take the Ghandi approach if they feel like they really need to do something. I mean, really. Not like they're really bothering anyone... well, except maybe with stupid wars lol

bury the year
I like religion because it teaches you to be moral and ethical and stuff. (Well, 'cept for Leviticus, but they hadn't straightened their facts out on that yet.) Atheism can't do nearly as good a job in that regard. AsianGuy1137
Nuh uh, cuz in this other book I read called The Holy Bible, it says that people like you are the servants of the devil and should be stoned to death... oh wait, maybe I shouldn't believe everything I read in books

AsianGuy1137
Anything less than the absolute meaning of life/five easy steps to get rich quick and live forever isn't nearly good enough of a read. Does this book divulge into either of the aforementioned subjects?

Religion has caused war and other forms of violence (for example: The Crusades, The Holocaust, etc.), whereas atheism just leads to a lot of annoying people in the world. I mean, some religion does say 'love everyone and be a good person,' but I've honestly met more good, honest, caring individuals that are Atheist than I have those that are heavily religious.

Zeal Ascendant
It looks pretty dumb. Like zarkus said, it just looks like a bunch of stuff that I already know. And honestly izaya, you can go to some religious or political forum and shove atheism down their throats, but seriously, this is a children's card game forum. And it's also kind of annoying. Sometimes I feel angry at hardcore religious people too, but I don't start telling everyone about it.
Shalltear Bloodfallen
I like to consider myself a firm atheist but I will not order the book because just based on the title, It's bound to be stuff I already know. Religion is only a bad thing when the extremists get to play around with it, since all religions in truth basiclyonly wants you to live a good life (a.k.a not steal, murder etc.), if you ask me.Every war religion caused is because one or more side(s) thought that their God was the right one and that they were on some kind of mission (eventhough no religion that I know of says that anywhere) "to rid the world of heretics", heretics being every single person not worshiping the same god as you do. Atheists should not force their opinions and views on theists and neither should theists force their religious oppinions and views on to atheists, period. Tentacruel
It is almost impossible to truly "force your beliefs down one's throat." Thinking you're right and stating your opinion is fine. It's when you directly attack people that's rude. Also, the only people I consider to be extremists are people who physically harm others. Kirun Wolf
Generally I am the most accepting person you will ever meet. You are who you are, and you believe what you believe. However, there are days when I look at history, and see the horrific atrocities committed in the name of religion, and I become angry. I am against the institution of religion. I do not care about belief; you are entitled to your own beliefs. Religion, however, is an institution of forced conformity; it is a tool for mass hysteria and war-mongering; it is a political institution, a control mechanism, and the most powerful instrument of destruction and ignorance the world has ever known. Today, however, is not one of those days...

To push your atheism down the throat of Christians and the like is just massively hypocritical. Nope. The main idea of atheism is the belief that there isn't a god. What you're talking about is antitheism, which is completely different in its nature. I would like to read God is not Great some day, just to hear some of Hitchens' words on the subject. Never heard of him until he passed away, but he seems like an interesting person.
