Don't simply discuss YCM.
SItuation 1: Opponent Normal Summons Venus. They activate it's effect (no s***). Do you chain immediately @ the first shine ball? What do you do in this situation YCM, assuming they're gonna go Gachi?

Situation 2: Opponent goes Lonefire. If you chain immediately they'll just go Dandy --> End. How do you go through with this, YCM? Also, BONUS QUESTION: They have Reborn in hand that you somehow know about maybe with Dustshoot idgaf. So, they go Lonefire --> x, and they have Reborn in hand, what do you do?

Oh, and discuss.

Both situations require me to know what my hand is (if I can stop Gachi, ect), how many Maxx I play in total and how many are currently in hand. =O

I'd say this is in the top 3, cards of the format.
Ok, well lets assume you have 3 Maxx "C" in Deck and 1 in hand now. What would you do if you had an out to Gachi, whatever it might be, and what would you do if you didn't.

Oh and definitely.

SItuation 1: Opponent Normal Summons Venus. They activate it's effect (no s***). Do you chain immediately @ the first shine ball? What do you do in this situation YCM, assuming they're gonna go Gachi? Depends on what you have in hand. If you can't handle 2k Venus then it's best to just Maxx C the first use. If you can handle a 2k Venus then the best option is to Maxx C on the second payment, if they go Gachi then you +1, if they don't then any Venus from then on in is dead.

Again depends on what you have, and also this time as to what they already have set up. If they have any combo pieces in grave then I'd likely just Maxx C the Lonefire. If I know they have Reborn I'd wait until the activate Reborn to use the Maxx C, this way they will either have the Reborn wasted or I'm guaranteed to plus.

Card of the format. Every deck has to be prepared for a Maxx C drop.

Though I'd normally just spam Maxx 'C' like a [s]boss[/s] noob.

I'd say this is in the top 3, cards of the format.

Maxx C, Raioh and Dustshoot :)

Most of the situations I have used this card with served as deterrents, stopping my opponent's big plays that don't really change the outcome of the game because they then know that they will lose if they Special Summon too many times.

I love how I lost my first game of YCMLS because I played recklessly as ma opponent drawed like 5 because of Maxx "C". He proceeded to Quasar next turn. Probably would have won if it weren't for that /ok

I swear we need another upgrade though. Shiny Black C is cool and all, especially in Turbo decks that can mill a lot. Now we just need something that screws Synchros, Xyzs, Rituals and Fusions over.

I don't main Maxx C and I don't see the appeal. From the deck I've played, if I someone's gonna SS a lot they're shooting for game. If you're dueling people who SS a lot and they're not shooting for game you need to duel better people.

But Agents need to Special Summon like 2-3 times in a turn. That's probably gonna end up with a decent draw from C, if they go through with it.

Super "C" - Banish itself and another insect or something: Solemn Warning.
*sealclap* yesyesyes.

It's not just Agents that SS a lot. Almost any meta deck SS's an absolute ton. Look at Tour Guide, for example, it's a near-staple and Maxx C shuts it down or nets a +1. For a decent non-Rai-oh play, most decks special summon a few times to grab a synchro or something, and whaddya know, Maxx C stops them from pushing too far, and lets you maintain control of the game.

May not screw over Xyz, but:

it can destroy Synchros, Rituals and Fusions and activates upon being sent to the grave in any way, which can be both either really good (since it doesn't miss timing), or really bad (since it is mandatory).

If they're special summoning that often and still losing, that's their own fault. It's not like Maxx C is a hidden card or something. You know what's about to happen the instant your opponent activates it. You either let him get a +0 or you weigh the consequences.

If you honestly think summoning some crappy level 3 Xyz beatstick is worth letting your opponent draw 3 new cards, that's your business. I'd stop the instant he played it on Venus and bluff Honest, the go for Hyperion next turn. Or summon Agent - Earth and go for a Synchro. Or go for Kristya. Or set Warning for when he tries to swing over Venus or Mystic Shine Ball.

Search for Sangan and get your search from the critter (possibly another Tour Guide and go for it again next turn). The only way it fails is if Thunder King makes an appearance.
What do you guys run, 2 or 3?
Zero, because I duel good players.

So all we can really denounce from this thread is that Pika doesn't seem to know the current metagame and the OCG is better because they don't have bullshit exclusives.

Wait, so because you duel people who use decks that special summon a lot, you don't run Maxx C. This has to be one of the most nonsensical things I've seen a mod on this forum say, and I'm including Crab Helmet's sarcasm.
