Atheist so, no.
Of the people I can't stand, devout atheists are at the forefront. With such unrelenting zeal they insist upon their denial of that which they can't possibly disprove. Yet the parallels between themselves and the Christians they so despise are woefully neglected. Parallels that are either unperceived or linger within some closet in their psyche, a closet they avoid as if it were a pit of searing acid. They prejudicially assume full understanding of that which they simply CANNOT know no less than their counterparts who erode the bricks upon which they do their incessant praying.

Christians are far more interesting to me, leaving in their wake a rich history of mad passion that manifested itself in their philosophy, wars, and varying works of art. Conversely, atheists are shellshocked. Rather than reap the rewards left by forebearers with whom they have much in common, they are left with a rather meek arsenal with which to attempt to justify their pretense dominated by contesting anything and everything, barking like dogs at what they do not know. Each devout atheist is their own omniscient individual, consistently mirroring their views of Christianity by making claims of what surely must be true in areas where they're uncertain before discarding said sure truths for the next certainties to come along. My theory is that most devout atheists are motivated by the spirit of the times and would find themselves on the opposite side were it more fashionable.

That being said, both sides are wrong to assume knowledge of that which they cannot know and because of this I continue to preach agnosticism or respect for what is unknown in not making conclusive claims either way. However, my sympathies are greater for Christians than atheists and I would prefer Christianity to be the more fashionable of the two.

Technically even this is uncertain, but given that my response to the question of "how do you want to die?" is to be within the confines of the assumption that I am indeed to die, I'd have my death be cruel and dramatic, such as a public crucifixion as per Jesus. I think such a death would serve best in lighting a spark under the asses of those who would otherwise be uninspired and passionless.

"To die by your side is such a heavenly way to die."

So, that. Next to someone special, I guess. Peacefully.

In all seriousness, I would rather die in someone's arms and let it be all super dramatic. It'll so emotional, I'll probably be so at peace that not even heaven could make me any happier.

So, tell me YCM, how do you want to die?
My own anger or greed will more than most likely lead to my demise. My anger would make me blind to pretty mcuh everything. Greed would make me do something foolish.

So Mary Sue, but fighting an epic battle between good and evil, my friend the main hero. But our group's getting overwhelmed, and I use a super-powerful life energy nuke that destroys the entire dark army. Unfortunately, it uses up all of my life energy, and I collapse into my devastated friend's arm. I start turning into light and fade away in a huge pillar of light that erupts from my chest and relights the darkened sky. Then my soul uses a final god-like power to completely destroy all darkness forever. Then disappearing. And some kind of small token of my friendship with the MC and his girlfriend remains. And as they hold it, they reminisce about the good old times we had, and start to grieve, in a cool way. And now I watch from the heavens, a sort-of-god who protects them on their journey, and keeps darkness down.
