WTFauKorean Posted January 23, 2012 Report Share Posted January 23, 2012 having perfected control over my will power. why? well humans already have the capability to do some remarkable thing, the only thing holding us back is our weak will. I mean for pretty much anything. with great effort you a 90 lbs weakling can probably win a fight against a 170 lbs heavy lifter in a month of exceptional effort, training, learning, dieting the right way, etc. we were born instinctively hesitant, I want that instinct to be in a voluntary control. of course that also means I will have enough voluntary control to stay within the bounds of rationality, I don't want to create an obsession or any kind of placebo or an almost chemical dependency either. I'm not gonna convince my self I can quadruple jump in mid air through sheer effort. but I can probably will myself to study harder and longer till I'm as smart as any born prodigy. I can work out harder and longer to be as strong as any Olympian, I can resist primal urges to stay sharp and probably lay any woman to bed without causing much problems the next morning (this ones.... uhhh.. personal) and I can pop all the drugs I want without addiction.
