Intelligent discussion: Inzektors

Recommended Posts

Because I just finished my IRL Build thanks to a friend selling me his Inzektor Hornet. I got the Dflys for £3, Centipedes I only needed one and I got it for £0.50, and I payed £15 for Hornets, £10 for Giga-Mantis: LIFE IS GOOD. Note that I'm not running TGU right now because I cba and want to try a TGUless build. Besides, I just sold like 3 of them :3

discuss them. Personally I think they'll be like the Gravekeepers of formats to come. Which means they'll be barely hit. They're so amazing when you play them right, but I'm seeing too many noob builds running Giga-Weevil and that makes me die inside.
Please, no "HURP THEY'RE BROKEN!11!!!1!" Posts.

They're not that hard to side against, which is why they won't get hit. They also share the same issue BF had when they just came out: if you can prevent them from having a monster on the field, they won't swarm...unless I've been playing against really dumb people. Which is perfectly possible on DN.

Speaking of sides...

I had this sided against me the other day. I still won, but I found it quite interesting. I usually like to have COTH or Reborn in the hand when I can to pretty much ensure Dfly hits the field safely. They will be hit, but won't be hit massively. I said "Barely" not "Won't be hit" But Dfly is usually safe because they(or atleast from what I've seen) don't like to set massive backrows because you always take the backrow first. No one seems to set chainables, either :-/

or am I just dueling imbeciles?

Inzektors do create a change in pace this format though. decks like plants have become more control oriented, with the heavy use of Thunder King Rai-Oh, mostly because most monster summoned right now does not pose immediate threat and can be beaten over later. and if there is a threat, it will most likely be negated by Rai-Oh. However, Inzektor need to be stopped there and now, and cards like Rai-Oh and D Prison become largely useless.

For me this means more veiler and fiendish chain, as well as other tech cards in place of Rai-Oh. So you know I like that since Anti-Meta becomes a lot more viable and stuff. Oh and T.G. sound really cool since they can steal Zenmaines or inzektors and s***, and are don't care about veiler/fiendish

The moral of the story here is: play better people

Chain Disappearance does jack s*** because they'll leviair them back with TGU
This why I can't have nice things... *cries*
Leviair should have its kneecaps broken with a wrench. And I don't care about him not actually having kneecaps.

How to build an Inzektor Deck:

3 Dragonfly
3 Centipede
3 Hornet
1 Gigamantis
30 staples, semi-staples and techs

Unoriginal, but not as unoriginal as Staples.Dek, though this takes the cake for being most unoriginal deck based around an archtype, all due to Hornet existing.

I was wondering, do Inzektors use any of the old Insect support? Like Lair Wire or Insect Neglect? (Since they TGO into Leviair 3 times per turn..)

Nope. They are unneeded.
